Wooohooo

Yesterday was the first whole day we spent at Europa-Park and we tried out some of the the rides. Because there's school holidays in parts of Germany and France, and the fact that it is Halloween, there were tons of people in the park and at some attractions you have to wait for 60 minutes to get a spot to ride.

Here's a picture of me after the first wild rollercoaster ride (Silver Star - a point of view video can be found here).

After wards we went on to ride on other attractions and later we took the wildest of the rollercoasters here the Blue Fire (there is also a point of view video of that to be found here).

In the evening there was a parade which we narrowly made. And finally here are some of the impressions of the day:

Afterwards we went out to dinner to get some pizza.

And then it was time for hotel and bed again.

Inktober ends today with the last topic: RIPE:

Gestern waren wir den ersten vollen Tag im Europa-Park und haben einige der Attraktionen ausprobiert. Wegen den aktuellen Ferien in Teilen von Deutschland und Frankreich, und der Tatsache dass Halloween ist, sind hier allerdings Menschenmassen unterwegs. Das führt teilweise zu Wartezeiten an dern Attraktionen von 60 Minuten.

Hier ein Bild von mir nach der ersten wilden Hochschaubahn (Silver Star - ein Video wie die Bahn aussieht gibt es hier).

Danach sind wir noch mit anderen gefahren und später dann mit der schlimmsten Hochschaubahn dem Blue Fire (auch dazu gibt es ein Video hier).

Am Abend gab es dann im Park eine Parade, die wir knapp geschafft haben zu erreichen. Hier nun ein paar Impressionen vom Tag:

Danach ging es zum Abendessen in eine nahe gelegene Pizzeria.

Und dann ab ins Hotel und ins Bett.

An odyssey

Yesterday we went by train to Rust and the Europapark. Although each train we took - and we took 4 in total - was delayed, we still arrived on time at our final destination.

In the evening our dear friends picked us up at the train station and then we went for a quick shopping trip before we went to our hotel. Then we had dinner and after that it was time to retreat to our room and go to bed.

The topic for today at Inktober is: CATCH:

Gestern sind wir mit dem Zug zum Europapark nach Rust gefahren. Obwohl jeder der Züge - und wir haben 4 davon in Summe genommen - Verspätung hatte, sind wir trotzdem zur geplanten Zeit angekommen.

Am Abend haben uns dann unsere Freunde vom Bahnhof abgeholt und wir sind noch schnell einkaufen gefahren bevor wir uns im Hotel niedergelassen haben. Nach einem Nachtmahl sind wir dann ins Zimmer gegangen und auch schon bald eingeschlafen.

On our way to fun

Yesterday we finished our preparations for today's start of our vacation at Europapark Rust. The cats were surprised at first, but since we won't be gone too long and my parents will take care of them, they will manage.

In the evening it was tv shows on the couch again.

Gestern haben wir die letzten Vorbereitungen für unseren heute startenden Urlaub im Europapark Rust getroffen. Die Katzen waren etwas verwundert, aber wir sind diesmal nicht so lange weg und meine Eltern kümmern sich wieder liebevoll um unsere kleinen Fellnasen.

Am Abend dann wieder Fernsehserien auf der Couch - wie immer.

Winter here we come

Yesterday I went to my parents' house and we changed the tyres on the car. Meanwhile the neighbour's cats "helped" us also.

Afterwards I went to Alten Donau to retrieve the remaining food and drinks from this year's summer parties, since the winter season has started.

Back home I had to lay down a bit and in the evening it was NFL and the usual BBC tv shows on the couch.

Today at Inktober: RIDE:

Gestern war ich bei meinen Eltern in Haus und wir haben die Reifen vom Auto gewechselt. Zwischendurch haben uns auch die Nachbarkatzen "geholfen".

Danach ging es zur Alten Donau die restlichen Getränke und Lebensmittel von den Sommerparties mitnehmen, nachdem die Wintersaison begonnen hat.

Zuhause dann habe ich mich etwas hingelegt und am Abend gab es NFL und die üblichen BBC Fernsehserien auf der Couch.
