Getting stuff done

Yesterday was another extremely hard day at work and in the evening I was glad to drive back home.

There my dinner awaited me already and after that it was couch and tv show time.

Busy day

Yesterday was a rather exhausting day at work and I was glad to be back home in the evening.

After a quick dinner we went onto the couch for the usual tv shows.

Gestern war ein anstrengender Tag in der Arbeit und ich war froh wieder nach Hause zu kommen.

Nach einem schnellen Abendessen ging es auf die Couch zu den Fernsehserien.

Planning ahead

Yesterday we went out for our weekly grocery shopping trip and afterwards we went to Alten Donau to stock the hut with drinks for the upcoming summer season.

In the afternoon we entertained the cats and did our chores.

Gestern waren wir bei unserem wöchentliche Großeinkauf und danach sind wir zur Alten Donau gefahren um auch dort alles für die kommende Saison klar zumachen. Jetzt sind wieder genug Getränke für den Sommer gelagert.

Am Nachmittag haben wir uns mit dem Katzen beschäftigt und Hausarbeit gemacht.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien angesagt.

The doors have opened again

Yesterday we had another online roleplaying session with dear friends from Austria and Japan alike. This time there was no fighting and they found a perfect conclusion to the problem - I guess next time I need to be less friendly with the players...

After that we had a quick dinner and then went onto the couch for various tv show - but of course the cats also insisted on their play sessions before that.

Gestern haben wir wieder eine online Rollenspielsession mit lieben Freunden aus Österreich und Japan gemacht. Diesmal keine Kämpfe und es wurde zu einem guten Ende gebracht - da muss ich wohl nächstes Mal etwas böser sein...

Danach ging es nach einem schnellen Abendessen auf die Couch zu diversen Fernsehserien - aber auf die Katzen haben ihre Spielsessions noch eingefordert.

Walking around for a bit

Yesterday after breakfast went out for a walk through Böhmischer Prater, before the masses of people did their walks.

In the afternoon my dear had an online roleplaying session and meanwhile I prepared for our session today, while listening to podcasts.

In the evening it was time for couch and tv shows.

Gestern sind wir nach dem Frühstück im Böhmischen Prater spazieren gegangen, bevor die Menschenmassen gekommen sind.

Am Nachmittag hatte mein Schatz eine online Rollenspielsession und ich habe inzwischen die heutige vorbereitet und dazu Podcasts gehört.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien angesagt.

Having fun with YSDC

Yesterday for lunch I picked up some pizzas for us from Pause am Berg, since my dear was having some online meeting again.

In the afternoon I let something else do the chores while I join the live session of YSDC and again had a blast of a time.

In the evening it was again time for couch and tv shows until we went to bed.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag wieder Pizza von der Pause am Berg holen, da mein Schatz mit Meetings im Home Office beschäftigt war.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann Hausarbeit machen lassen und mich mit YSDC in deren Live Version köstlich unterhalten.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien bis wir ins Bett gefallen sind.

A new toy for the boy!!

Yesterday I had a day off and so I picked up some pizzas from Pause am Berg for lunch.

I also received a new "toy", which the cats eyed with suspicion at first.

In the afternoon I baked somekanelbullar and there still enough yeast left to bake something on the weekend as well.

In the evening it was couch and tv show time as usual, this time the new toy did some cleaning of our bedroom during that time as well.

Of course it's obvious what the black and white image of the day will be.

Gestern war wieder ein freier Tag und so habe ich uns zu Mittag Pizzen von der Pause am Berg geholt.

Doch auch ein neues "Spielzeug" hat den Weg in unsere Wohnung gefunden und die Katzen sind gleich einmal sehr misstrauisch geworden.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann noch Kanelbullar gebacken und es ist immer noch ein bisschen Hefe übrig für das Wochenende.

Am Abend waren dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien am Programm, während das Spielzeug unser Schlafzimmer gesaugt hat.

Natürlich war klar was das schwarz weiß Bild des Tages sein wird.

Working even harder

Yesterday was my second lone day at work this week and there were a lot more deliveries as well. In the evening I was glad to finally be back home for a good dinner.

After that it was the usual couch and tv shows.

The black and white image of the day might have something to do with deliveries as well...

Gestern war mein zweiter Arbeitstag der Woche und es waren noch mehr Lieferungen abzuarbeiten. Ich war froh als ich am Abend nach Hause kommen konnte und ein gutes Abendessen bekommen habe.

Working hard

Yesterday was aquite normal day at work. Deliveries kept flying in and also calls about specific games, but paying customers were a rare sight his day. Let's hope this will change in the coming days.

Gestern war ich wieder den ganzen Tag im Geschäft. Es kamen ständig Lieferungen und Anrufe, aber eigentliche Kunden leider so gut wie gar nicht. Also hoffen wir einmal, dass sich das im Laufe des Woche ändert.

Am Abend ging es nach dem Abendessen gleich auf die Couch zu den Fernsehserien.

Driving around

Yesterday we did a lot of driving with our car. In the morning I brought my dear to her doctor's appointment and then picked her up again afterwards. Later we did some grocery shopping and delivery for my mother-in-law and drove through half of Vienna.

In between we were at home and did some chores and my dear also had an online meeting on her day off.

Finally in the evening it was couch and tv shows.

Gestern waren sehr viel mit dem Auto unterwegs. Zunächst habe ich meinen Schatz zu einem Arzttermin geführt und wieder abgeholt. Und am Nachmittag sind wir dann zum Einkaufen und Liefern für meine Schwiegermutter durch Wien gedüst.

Dazwischen waren wir zuhause und haben Hausarbeit gemacht und mein Schatz hatte noch ein Online-Meeting an ihrem freien Tag.

Growing some herbs

Yesterday we had a quiet day at home, although we went out on a walk after breakfast to Böhmischer Prater, since not a lot of people were out at that time.

The rest of the day I listened to podcast and did the chores. Also we started to grow our own herbs - the results should be available in one week's time.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Of course the black and white image of the day has to be in theme with the day.

Gestern haben wir einen ruhigen Tag verbracht und waren nach dem Frühstück im Böhmischen Prater spazieren, als noch nicht so viele Leute unterwegs waren.

Ich habe dann Podcasts gehört und Hausarbeit gemacht. Auch die eigenen Kräuter habe ich jetzt wachsen lassen - in einer Woche kommt dann das Ergebnis.

Am Abend war wie immer Couch und Fernsehserien das Fixprogramm.

Take that yeast!!

Yesterday morning we went grocery shopping - with our masks and stuff of course.

After that I started to make Buchteln for dinner and this time - with some great hints from dear friends - I finally bested the yeast and produced something that we really looking and tasting great. Next goal: choux pastry!

In the evening we played a boardgame: Walking in Burano. It's a very quick and easy card game which centers around the colourful houses and the cats of Venice.

After that we went onto the couch and watched The Meg on purpose - which went rather great with a lot of gin tonic.

Of course the black and white image of the day has to be one of my greatest victories.

Gestern waren wir zunächst einkaufen - natürlich mit Maske und so.

Danach habe ich begonnen die Buchteln fürs Abendessen zu machen und diesmal sind sie - dank Tipps von zwei lieben Freundinnen - auch wirklich so geworden wie ich sie mir vorgestellt habe. Hefe - du bist besiegt!!! Nächstes Ziel: Brandteig.

Am Abend haben wir dann ein Brettspiel ausprobiert: Buntes Burano. Ein schnelles und einfaches Kartenspiel um bunte Häuser und Katzen in Venedig.

Danach ging es dann auf die Couch, wo wir uns The Meg angeschaut haben - mit viel Gin Tonic ist es gerade so gegangen.

Zur Feier des Tages ist natürlich auch mein schwarz weiß Bild von diesem historischen Ereignis.

Reaching the end of the week

Yesterday my dear had online meetings the whole day, so I took care of lunch by getting some salad for us both from Pause am Berg and also did some of the chores.

In the afternoon I listened to podcasts and relaxed a bit.

In the evening it was finally time to relax on the couch for both of us, with the usual tv shows of course.

Gestern hatte mein Schatz den ganzen Tag online Meetings, also habe ich uns Salat als Mittagessen von der Pause am Berg geholt und mich auch sonst um den Haushalt gekümmert.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann noch Podcasts gehört und entspannt.

Am Abend waren wir dann wieder auf der Couch und haben den Tag mit Fernsehserien ausklingen lassen.

Und wieder eine Impression aus der Wohnung in schwarz weiß.

Ups and downs of staying home

Yesterday I stayed home and tried to relax a bit. For lunch I picked up some pizzas from Pause am Berg.

In the afternoon I baked a lemon drizzle cake, but the final result looked more like the Grand Canyon, so I'm not going to post a picture of that. It tasted ok, as an addition to some icecream.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

And the cats were very happy as well, so this black and white image was taken.

Gestern war ich zuhause und habe mich ein wenig erholt. Zu Mittag habe ich uns Pizzen von der Pause am Berg geholt.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann einen Zitronenkuchen gemacht, der im Endstadium dem Grand Canyon ähnlich gesehen hat und ich deswegen auch keine Bilder posten möchte - geschmeckt, als Zusatz zu Eis, hat er aber ganz ok.

Am Abend waren es dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien.

Und die Katzen waren auch lustig, deswegen auch dieses schwarz weiß Bild.

Second day open

Yesterday was the second day we were allowed to open again and contrary to the day before no a lot of people came and bought stuff. But in these times you must be glad to be allowed to sell stuff and make any money at all.

In the evening it was a quick dinner followed by couch and tv shows as usual.

Since I like to wear rings, today's black and white image is from that theme.

Gestern war der zweite offene Tag im Geschäft und das anfängliche Ansturm hat sich sehr gelegt. Der Tagesumsatz war nicht sehr berauschend, aber in diesen Zeiten muss man froh sein offen haben zu dürfen und überhaupt Geld zu verdienen.

Am Abend gab es dann wieder ein schnelles Abendessen und dann ab auf die Couch zu den Fernsehserien.

Nachdem ich gerne Ringe trage, heute ein passendes Motiv in schwarz weiß dazu.
