This saturday we went to friends for a boardgaming afternoon.
We started with the continuation of Charterstone - now we have flying islands for our buildings!
After that we played a new game Darwinning!, which is a trick taking game with the twist that you can evolve your species with one of the cards you played to win a trick. It sounds better in theory than when we played it though.
Then we went down the political incorrect path with Verdammt Nochmal and order events due to their disgusting factor.
The conclusion of the evening was Sagrada and this one is a real gem. Each palyed builds his own version of a church window out of colored dice, which has to be build following some building rules. It was exciting till the end - although very little interaction between the players - and in the end the winner only was one point ahead!
Afterwards we went back home to our cats and entertained them before feeding them as well.
