Yesterday we should have gotten our new sink in the bathroom, but it (once again?) was not as we excepted. While the professionals installed the sink, they found out that the main valve for the cold water could not be turned off. So they reinstalled our old sink, but in the process of that the gasket broke and the water decided to flow directly to the floor, so they had to shut down that particular valve in the bathroom. So now, until the whole thing is fixed, we have no working sink in the bathroom...
After that defeat we went out grocery shopping and then had a good lunch. In the afternoon it was time for the chores and in the evening we did our couch and tv shows thing.

Gestern hätten wir unser neues Waschbecken im Bad bekommen sollen, doch es kam (mal wieder?) anders als erwartet. Wie sich während der Montage herausstellte, ist unsere Kaltwasserhauptventil defekt und lässt sich nicht abdrehen. Also wieder das alte Waschbecken montiert und da hat jetzt die Dichtung ihren Geist aufgegeben und das Wasser ist nicht über den Hahn sondern direkt unten rausgekommen, also Wasser zum Becken abdrehen und jetzt warten bis der Kaltwasserhaupthahn von der Hausverwaltung repariert wird. Bis dahin halt kein Waschbecken im Bad...
Nach dieser Niederlage sind wir dann einkaufen gegangen und haben uns ein Mittagessen gemacht. Am Nachmittag war dann Hausarbeit angesagt und am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien.
