Yesterday morning I did some of the chores and listened to podcasts. In the afternoon we went to the archery shop to complain about the quality of the arrows we bought last time, which nearly all lost their tips after the first hit in the target. After some dubious explanation ("The heat from the shot can sometime loosen the glue of the tips and then the tips stuck in the target.") the owner of the shop replaces the missing tips and we also bought some more bits and pieces.
In the evening, shortly before the usual couch session, my monitor started to emit burning electronical smells and is now out of order, so I'll have to get a new one today on my way to work.
Finally we went onto the couch together and watched some tv shows and declared that fate has abandoned us.

Gestern habe ich am Vormittag Hausarbeit gemacht und Podcasts gehört. Am Nachmittag sind wir zu unserem Bogenhändler gefahren um die Pfeile mit den losen Spitzen zu reklamieren. Nach fadenscheinigen Erklärungen ("Der Kleber von den Spitzen kann sich schon durch die Wärmeentwicklung beim Schuss lösen und deswegen bleiben die Spitzen im Ziel stecken.") wurden doch kulanterweise die Spitzen erneuert und wir haben auch ein bisschen Zubehör gekauft.
Am Abend, kurz bevor es auf die Couch ging, ist mir dann auch noch mein Monitor "abgebrannt" (verbrannter Elektronikgeruch ohne Flammenentwicklung) sodass ich mir heute einen neuen Monitor besorgen muss.
Zum Ausklang des Tages haben wir dann auf der Couch Fernsehserien geschaut und uns mit unserem Schicksal abgefunden.
