Back in business

Yesterday was the first day back at the shop and everything went find. In the evening I was exhausted though but couch and tv shows is still always possible.

Gestern war der erste Tag zurück im Geschäft und es ging alles sehr gut. Am Abend war ich natürlich sehr müde, aber Couch und Fernsehserien gehen immer.

One day to go

As already mentioned we stayed home yesterday and did the chores. In the evening it was couch and tv shows time again though.

Wie gestern schon angekündigt, waren wir den ganzen Tag zuhause und haben Hausarbeit gemacht. Nur am Abend ging es dann auf die Couch und es wurden wieder Fernsehserien geschaut.

And we are back (but not back in business)

Yesterday we came back to Vienna very late at night. My father was kind enough to pick us up from the airport and brought us home.

Today we will be sleeping a lot and doing chores, since we still have a free day ahead of us.

Gestern spät in der Nacht sind wir von der Kreuzfahrt zurück gekommen. Mein Vater war wieder so lieb und hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt.

Heute heißt es ausschlafen und Hausarbeit erledigen, da wir noch den Montag frei haben.

The cruise has started

Since we are on a cruise right now, I thought it a good idea to again have our current position in this blog during our trip.

Only one day left

Yesterday was another good day at work and that dispite only getting one delivery all day.
In the evening I went back home and it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern war wieder ein sehr guter Tag in der Arbeit und das obwohl nur eine Lieferung gekommen ist.
Am Abend ging es wie immer nach Hause und dann auf die Couch zu Fernsehserien.

Slow day

Yesterday was a very slow day at work and when I came back home it was time for couch and tv shows.

Gestern war wieder ein sehr langsamer Tag in der Arbeit und ich bin dann am Abend nach Hause gekommen, zu Couch und Fernsehserien.

Slowly towards vacation

Yesterday was a rather normal day at work and slowly we are feeling the need for our upcoming vacation - only 3 more days to go!

Back home in the evening it was time for couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern war ein normaler Tag in der Arbeit und schön langsam beginnt die Urlaubsstimmung - nur mehr 3 Tage dann geht's los!

One more week

Yesterday was the start of the second week, where I'm alone in the shop. It was a normal day and considering that many people are on vacation, there were a normal number of customers all day.

In the evening I went back home, where my dear had friends over for boardgaming while I was listening to podcasts.

Gestern war der Beginn der zweiten Woche, wo ich allein im Geschäft stehe. Es war wieder ein normaler Tag und eigentlich macht sich die Urlaubszeit nicht wirklich bei den Kundenzahlen bemerkbar.

Am Abend ging es nach Hause wo mein Schatz mit Freunden brettgespielt hat und ich inzwischen Podcasts gehört habe.

Back to normal

Yesterday at first we did the chores and then we went to the vet with our pussy cat for her check-up.

Everything is ok though and now she not as fluffy as before, which should help here through the hot summer.

For dinner we went out to Pause am Berg and had some chanterelle dishes.

In the evening it was time again for tv shows on the couch.

Gestern war zunächst Hausarbeit angesagt und dann ging es mit der Mieze Katze zur Tante Tierarzt zur Kontrolle.

Es ist alles ok und jetzt ist die Maus nicht mehr so fluffig und übersteht den Sommer vermutlich noch besser.

Zum Abendessen sind wir dann zur Pause am Berg gegangen und haben uns Eierschwammerln gegönnt.

Am Abend dann war wieder Fernsehserien schauen auf der Couch angesagt.

Feeling better

This sunday I only relaxed and entertained the cats, which really helped as I'm feeling better already.

Am Sonntag war ausruhen und Katzen bespassen angesagt und es hat wirklich gut getan und geholfen!

Finally weekend

Since I all alone at the moment at work, I also had to work yesterday. It was a rather quite day and therefore we didn't make very much money. But in the end I was getting home and went straight to bed to relax more, which I will continue doing so today.

Nachdem ich ja zur Zeit allein im Geschäft stehe, war ich auch gestern in der Arbeit. Es war ein sehr ruhiger Tag und dementsprechend auch wenig Umsatz, aber ich bin dann wieder nach Hause gefahren um mich erneut auzuruhen, was ich auch heute noch machen werde.

Getting ill?

Yesterday was a very good day at work, but my running nose was getting to me and so once I got home I went to bed to relax to get better.

Gestern war ein sehr guter Tag in der Arbeit, aber mein Schnupfen hat mir sehr zugesetzt, sodass ich am Abend gleich ins Bett gefallen bin um mich auszuruhen.

Very strange indeed

Yesterday was a normal day at work and I went home in the evening rather exhausted, because I wasn't feeling too well (possible a light cold coming up).

The evening entertainment was the first two episodes of the latest season of Stranger Things.

Gestern war ein normaler Tag in der Arbeit und ich bin am Abend etwas fertig nach Hause gekommen, weil ich mich auch nicht wirklich gesund gefühlt habe (wohl einen Schnupfen aufgerissen).

Als Abendprogramm standen dann die ersten beiden Folgen der neuen Staffel von Stranger Things am Programm.

A very good day

Yesterday was a very good day at work and I spent most of the day unpacking and storing stuff - will this get less the next few days?

In the evening I went back home and straight onto the couch for the tv shows, as usual.

Gestern war ein sehr guter Tag in der Arbeit und ich habe wieder den ganzen Tag Kisten ausgepackt und Ware verstaut - ob das die nächsten Tag besser wird?

Am Abend dann ging es nach Hause und auf die Couch zu Fernsehserien, wie immer halt.

The lonely time has started

Yesterday was the firs day of the two week vacation of Harry, which means that I'm all alone at the shop. It was a normal day and that's very nice considering that the vacation period has started.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows yet again.

Gestern war der erste Tag der zwei Wochen Urlaub von Harry, was bedeutet dass ich den Laden allein schupfe. Es war ein normaler Tag und das obwohl die Ferien begonnen haben.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien angesagt.

Film Review: Men in Black International

Yesterday we went to the movies and watched - against better judgement from the film critics - Men in Black International.

The Men in Black are back, but not the ones we have seen in the the previous installations (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones), instead we get array of new characters in New York and London.

Molly had an encounter with the Men in Black as a child and once she's grown up she wants to join the organisation. In the end she succeeds and she's sent to London to check out some strange things within the agency. There she meets Agent H (Chris Hemsworth), who is not the typical agent you would except. Together they too try to save the world from total destruction...

Nice visual effects but the script is total crap. Mr. Hemsworth is - yet again - reduced to a womanizer with little brain and needs the help of Agent M to get anything done.

Conclusion: popcorn movie of the lowest kind, which can be enjoyed if the brain stays at home and you like very swallow humour, otherwise stay away from this

Gestern waren wir im Kino und haben und - trotz schlechter Kritiken vorab - Men in Black International angeschaut.

Die Men in Black sind zurück, aber nicht wie gewohnt in der Form von Will Smith und Tommy Lee Jones, sondern eine ganze Reihe von neuen Agenten in New York und London.

Molly hat als Kind ein Erlebnis mit den Men in Black gehabt und will was Erwachsene der Organisation beitreten. Schlussendlich gelingt das auch und sie wird nach London geschickt um dort Ungereimtheiten aufzudecken. Dabei trifft sich auf Agent H (Chris Hemsworth), der alles andere als ein typischer Agent ist. Zusammen versuchen auch sie die Welt wieder einmal vor der Vernichtung zu retten...

Nette Effekte aber das Drehbuch ist ein echter Schmarrn. Mr. Hemsworth wird - erneut - auf das Niveau eines dümmlichen Frauenheld reduziert und kann ohne Agent M keine nennenswerten Erfolge vorweisen.

Fazit: Popcorn Kino der untersten Kategorie, wenn man sein Gehirn gar nicht verwenden will und auf seichten Humor steht kann man ihn sich vielleicht ansehen, sonst besser nicht

Weekend with the in-laws

This sunday at noon we went out for a birthday lunch with my mother-in-law at Klaghofer.

After that we went home for some coffee and icecream and we did our cruise presentation again.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows yet again.

Am Sonntag waren wir zu Mittag zum Geburtstagsessen meiner Schwiegermutter beim Klaghofer.

Danach ging es zu uns nach Hause auf eine Jause und der Kreuzfahrtpräsentation.

Am Abend dann waren wieder Couch und Fernsehserien im Mittelpunkt.
