Great day with friends

Yesterday we went out for lunch to Pause am Berg with dear friends of ours.

We followed up on that by playing some boardgames in the afternoon - and some baked goods and ice cream.

This time we were again very successful playing Detective and only one more case is left to reveal all the dirty secrets that are still out there.

Gestern waren wir mit lieben Freunden wieder bei der Pause am Berg Mittagessen.

Gefolgt wurde das Ganze von einem Spielenachmittag mit Gebackenem und Eis.

Diesmal waren wir bei unserem Detective spielen auch sehr erfolgreich und nur mehr ein Fall trennt und davon das große Geheimnis zu lüften.

Some cooking and some baking

Yesterday I was out for some grocery shopping and for lunch I prepared Spaghetti Carbonara - including self-made pasta.

In the afternoon I did some chores, listened to podcasts and did some baking for today.

In the evening it was time for couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern war ich zunächst einkaufen und dann habe ich zu Mittag Spaghetti Carbonara gemacht - inklusive der Pasta natürlich.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann Hausarbeit gemacht, Podcasts gehört und dann noch für heute gebacken.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien am Programm.

Galettes all around

Yesterday I was home and made us some nice galettes for lunch (see the black and white image of the day). Of course we also drank sime cider with our meal, as you do in the Bretagne.

In the afternoon I did some chores and then we went out for a walk in Böhmischen Prater and the surrounding woods - after the rain stopped.

In the evening it was the usual couch and tv shows.

Gestern war ich zuhause und habe uns zu Mittag Galettes gemacht (siehe auch das schwarz weiß Bild des Tages). Natürlich haben wir auch Cider dazu getrunken, wie es in der Bretagne üblich ist.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann etwas Hausarbeit gemacht und wir sind noch im Böhmischen Prater und dem umliegenden Wald spazieren gegangen - nachdem der Regen aufgehört hatte.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien am Plan.

Yesterday was a bad business day again, although the weather was much better than the day before.

In the evening I went home, got a quick dinner and then we went onto the couch.

And that's what a poor tom cat looks like in black and white when he's really, really, really hungry.

Gestern war trotz schönem Wetter kein guter Tag in der Arbeit.

Am Abend ging es nach Hause, ein schnelles Abendessen und dann auf die Couch.

Und so schaut ein armer Kater in schwarz weiß aus wenn er wirklich, wirklich, wirklich Hunger hat.

Bad weather, bad business

Yesterday was a bad day at work, which could be connected to the mostly bad weather all day. But my parents visited me and I gave them something from the baked goods I made the day before.

Back home in the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern war wieder schlechter Tag in der Arbeit, was aber auch am sehr wechselhaften Wetter gelegen haben könnte. Aber meine Eltern haben mich besucht und ich habe ihnen etwas vom Gebackenen mitgegeben.

Yesterday we did our weekly grocery shopping - during the only sunny period of a otherwise rather rainy day.

That went well (for some)

Yesterday was another online roleplaying session of Call of Cthulhu with friends. This time not everything went smooth and so next time two of the players need new characters...

Afterwards we had dinner and did some cat entertainment. Later it was the usual tv show watching session on the couch.

Gestern war eine weitere online Call of Cthulhu Rollenspielsession mit Freunden. Diesmal ging es nicht so glimpflich ab und so haben zwei Spieler das nächste Mal einen neuen Charakter...

Boardgaming is back!!!

Yesterday we went out for lunch to Pause am Berg with some dear friends after a very loooooong break.

After that we went back home and we renewed our tradition of boardgaming. In the breaks we had very good homemade tiramisu from our guests and icecream from Tichy.

Later that evening we finally finished solving the second case of Detective and then we had to let our friends go - unfortunately the heavy rain was still going on.

Gestern waren wir zu Mittag mit lieben Freunden nach laaaaaanger Zeit wieder bei der Pause am Berg zu Mittag essen.

Danach ging es zu uns nach Hause und wir haben unsere lange Tradition vom Brettspielen fortgesetzt. Dazwischen gab es gutes mitgebrachtes Tiramisu und Tichy Eis.

Am späteren Abend haben wir dann endlich den zweiten Fall von Detective gelöst und haben unsere Freunde in den - leider immer noch anhaltenden - Regen entlassen.

It's a Leibniz

Yesterday morning I went out for a quick grocery shopping trip and after lunch I participated once more in the live stream of YSDC and Beyond the Vale.

After that I prepared the Call of Cthulhu scenario for sunday and later in the evening we played a game of Nova Luna with my dear.

After that we went onto the couch and watch the usual tv shows, we cat support of course.

Gestern war ich in der Früh schnell einkaufen und nach dem Mittagessen ging es wieder zu einem neuen Live Stream von YSDC und Beyond the Vale, wo ich wieder tatkräftig unterstützt habe.

Danach habe ich dann das Call of Cthulhu Szenario für Sonntag vorbereitet und später am Abend haben mein Schatz und ich noch Nova Luna ausprobiert.

Danach war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien am Programm, wie immer auch mit Katzenunterstützung.

A day for podcasting

Yesterday was a bank holiday and I stayed home while my dear went out with friends for a walk in Donaupark.

In the meantime I did some chores and listened to podcasts.

In the evening it was the usual couch and tv shows, with some cat entertainment sprinkled in.

Gestern war Feiertag und ich bin zuhause geblieben, während mein Schatz sich mit Freundinnen getroffen hat und im Donaupark spazieren war.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien am Programm, mit Katzenbespassung dazwischen.

Dicey tower assembled

Yesterday was an average day at work - not many deliveries and about as much customers.

Back home I got a tasty dinner and then it was time for a spot on the couch with cats and tv shows.

Gestern war ein durchschnittlicher Tag in der Arbeit, wenig Lieferungen aber auch wenig Kunden.

Wieder zuhause gab es dann ein gutes Abendessen und danach einen Platz auf der Couch mit Katzen und Fernsehserien.

Yesterday we did our weekly grocery shopping.

In the afternoon we did some chores and also played on the PC together.

After dinner we went onto the couch and this time watched a very special film by the British Museum, which you can watch this wednesday 20.5.2020 at 21:00 CET on YouTube (here is the link). We are members of the British Museum, so we got a special link to watch the movie in advance.

Gestern haben wir unseren wöchentlichen Einkauf absolviert.

Am Nachmittag war dann ein bisschen Hausarbeit am Programm und wir haben auch am PC gemeinsam gespielt.

Nach dem Abendessen ging es dann auf die Couch zu einem speziellen Film vom British Museum angesehen, den es am Mittwoch den 20.5.2020 um 21:00 auf YouTube zu sehen gibt (hier ist der Link dazu). Yesterday my dear went to Alte Donau to meet some friends of hers. Meanwhile I went to Pause am Berg for lunch.

In the afternoon I did some chores, listened to podcasts and updated the database from work.

In the evening we did the usual couch and tv shows together again.

Gestern ist mein Schatz zur Alten Donau gefahren um sich dort mit Freundinnen zu treffen. Ich war dafür zu Mittag in der Pause am Berg.

Am Nachmittag habe ich dann Hausarbeit gemacht, Podcasts gehört und die Kassa-Datenbank von der Arbeit auf Vordermann gebracht.

Am Abend haben wir dann wieder gemeinsam Fernsehserien auf der Couch geschaut.

Visiting my parents

Yesterday we went to visit my parents in their house and we went out to lunch with them.

After that we changed our car's tyres and then we went back home.

In the afternoon we played on the PC and in the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern waren wir meine Eltern im Haus besuchen und dort waren wir mit ihnen Mittagessen.

Danach haben wir noch die Reifen vom Auto gewechselt und sind wieder zurück nach Hause gefahren.
