Still more chores done

Yesterday we continued with the chores and also did a quick grocery shopping trip.

Gestern ging es mit Hausarbeit weiter und eine kleine Einkaufstour war auch drinnen.

Chores need to be done still

Yesterday we did some chores and then we spent the rest of the day recovering from that.

Gestern haben wir Hausarbeit gemacht und uns den Rest des Tages dann davon erholt.

Still ill and at home it seems

Although we already felt better, we suffered a setback and are now back being ill at home. When we went to our physician we also brought back some sushi for us and the cats.

Obwohl es uns beiden schon besser gegangen ist, haben wir jetzt einen Rückfall erlitten und sind wieder krank zuhause. Wir waren bei unserer Ärztin und danach gab es Sushi für uns und die Katzen.

December has started

December has started and it's once again time fot advent calendars. As mentioned yesterday, there is of course a new edition of the cat advent calendar.

In addition to that, the daily black and white pictures will feature behind-the-scene insights of those daily advent calendar images.

Der Dezember hat begonnen und damit auch die Zeit des Adventkalenders. Wie schon gestern kurz angekündigt gibt es auch heuer wieder den Katzenadventkalender.

Neu ist heuer allerdings, dass das entsprechende schwarz-weiß Bild des Tages quasi ein Behind-the-Scenes Bild dazu darstellt.

Some more things down in the lockdown

Yesterday we finally were able to get some things done, that we were not able to do the past few weeks. At the end of the day we were rather exhausted of course.

Since tomorrow is the first of december, the usual cat advent calendar available now.

Gestern haben wir viele Dinge erledigt, die in den letzten Wochen nicht möglich waren. Am Ende des Tages waren wir auch einigermassen erschöpft.

Nachdem morgen der erste Dezember ist, gibt es natürlich wieder den Katzen-Adventkalender.

Some shopping done

Yesterday I went into the city and also did a bit of shopping, so now we are restocked on peti pari stuff.

Gestern war ich in der Stadt unterwegs und habe dann auch ein bisschen eingekauft, sodaß wir jetzt wieder peti pari Nachschub haben.

This time in the lockdown

Yesterday I cooked us self-made pasta for lunch (and dinner), and I was very pleased with the results.

During the day I did some more invoices for the store, but I didn't make any cookies as I had hoped to do.

Gestern habe ich uns zu Mittag (und zum Abendessen) selbergemachte Pasta gemacht und ich war mit meinem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.

Untertags war ich wieder Rechnungstechnisch für die Arbeit unterwegs, aber Kekse sind es dann leider nicht geworden.

Yesterday at the lockdown

Yesterday I finished building the inn and also made some pasta dough for today. Perhaps I can slip in one or two trays of Christmas cookies today as well.

Gestern habe ich das Gasthaus fertig gebaut und für heute Pastateig gemacht. Mal schauen ob sich vielleicht auch ein oder zwei Bleche Weihnachtskekse ausgehen.

Lockdown again

Yesterday started another countrywide lockdown in Austria. Like the one the previous year it came at the worst time for business and resulting for me personally in no income for the next two month at least but huge profits for Amazon and similar businesses.

My first work I did resulting from that was writing two Python scripts for work - I now can generate PDFs and create SEPA QR code. So if anyone needs anythign of that sort or other, let me know cause I've got time...

Afterwards my dear and I started our first BlueBrixx medieval set: the Golden Goblet Inn. Today I'll continue building it and perhaps even finish it as well.

Gestern hat wieder ein Lockdown in Österreich begonnen. Wie schon das Jahr zuvor zur schlechtesten Zeit für den Handel und daraus resultierend kein Einkommen für mich für zumindest die nächsten zwei Monate und Riesengewinne für Amazon und Konsorten.

Als erste Tätigkeit habe ich einmal zwei Python Skripts für die Arbeit geschrieben - ich kann jetzt PDFs generieren und SEPA QR Code erstellen. Also wenn wer was in die Richtung braucht, ich habe Zeit...

Danach haben mein Schatz und ich unser erstes BlueBrixx Mittelalterset begonnen: das Gasthaus zum Goldenen Kelch. Heute werde ich es wohl weiterbauen und vielleicht fertigstellen können.

Back home again

Yesterday we had another great breakfast and then we went back home - with a short detour to Bad Aussee again.

Gestern hatten wir noch ein gutes Frühstück und dann ging es Richtung Heimat - mit einem kleinen Abstecher nochmal nach Bad Aussee.

Last full day of vacation

After breakfast went again went for an archerx training in the resort. After that we went to Altaussee und did an extended walk near the lake.

Back again we went to the spa and later had an excellent dinner.

The conclusion of the day was a very good show in the resort.

Nach dem Frühstück ging es wieder zum Bogenschiessen in der Anlage. Danach sind wir dann nach Altausse gefahren und dort am See gewandert.

Wieder zurück ging es in die Therme und danach zum Abendessen.

Den Abschluß hat dann die Abendshow des Resorts gemacht.

First full day of the vacation

We woke up to a very nice view yesterday.

After breakfast we did some archery training with the resort.

Afterwards we went to Bad Aussee and did a nice walk in the city and took some coffee and cake there as well.

Back at the resort we went to the spa and later had a great dinner from the buffet.

Uns hat gestern ein sehr schönes Pamorama geweckt.

Nach dem Frühstück haben wir Bogenschiessen im der Anlage geübt.

Danach sind wir dann nach Bad Aussee und sind dort durch den Ort gewandert und haben uns eine Jause in der Konditorei gegönnt.

Wieder in der Anlage ging es in die Therme und am Abend gab es ein gutes Essen vom Buffet.

Short vacation

Yesterday we started a short vacation at Bad Mitterndorf, the spa is rather small but the water is warm enough and the food is fantastic.

Wir haben gestern einen Kurzurlaub in Bad Mitterndorf angetreten, die Therme ist zwar nicht groß aber warm genug und das Essen ein Traum.

Next step for interior design

We bought our new lamp for the dining/gaming table the day before yesterday and I installed it yesterday. It didn't go according to any plan and there was much cursing involved, but in the end I managed to install the lamp and it's working.

Nachdem wir vorgestern die neue Lampe für das Esszimmer gekauft hatten, habe ich sie gestern montiert. Es ging nicht ohne Fluchen und Schimpfen ab, aber am Ende habe ich sie dann montieren können und sie funktioniet.

Working work for work

Yesterday was a busy day at work, so I treated myself to a great burger from Peter Pane.

Gestern war ein arbeitsamer Tag, aber zu Mittag habe ich mir einen Burger von Peter Pane gegönnt.

Monday as usual

Although it was a bank holiday, there was no difference to any other monday - my dear went to her parents and I did some of the chores at home while listening to podcasts.

Ah yes, I also baked a cake.

Obwohl es ein Feiertag war, ist er nicht anders verlaufen als jeder anderer Montag - mein Schatz war bei ihren Eltern und ich habe inzwischen Hausarbeit gemacht und Podcasts gehört.

Ach ja, einen Kuchen habe ich dann auch noch gebacken.

Halloween Football

For Halloween we stayed home and played boardgames online with friends.

In the evening we went onto the couch and watch a very exciting NFL game.

Zu Halloween sind wir zuhause geblieben und haben am Nachmittag mit Freunden online Brettspiele gespielt.

Am Abend dann ging es zu NFL auf die Couch und das haben wir ein sehr spannendes Spiel erlebt.
