Boardgaming

This saturday we first went grocery shopping and then went to the Star Wars Day at Böhmischen Prater.

Back home again we had a nice lunch and then we started the boardgame afternoon with The 7th Continent. The players try to work together to explore an island and solve problems in a kind of "create your own adventure" game.

Although it was tough to get all the rules togther and the game being rather long to play, we really liked it and I guess we'll be playing it again soon.

After that we played the card game Dungeon Fortune but we found out that we prefer the dice-based game with the same theme.

The final game we played was For Sale and we still haven't figured out what strategy should be used to play this game - or we are just overthinking it and it really is just a simple game.

The conclusion of the evening was a movie we watch on our couch - the anime Blame! which I slept through most of the film with a fluffy cat on my lap.

Boardgaming - especially Telestrations/Stille Post Extrem again

Yesterday it was boardgame afternoon at our place again and we started with some quick games.

First up was The Duke, which I played together with a friend since my dear was still preparing food and the other guests hadn't arrived yet. We played two quick games, but I think it was quite enjoyable.

After that we bought and sold real estate with For Sale. The game was quick and something of a casual play.

Then we went on to the main event of the afternoon - Terraforming Mars wasp played. Although my scientists were utterly useless this time, we all had blast playing the game.

Then we had dinner with some great pulled pork and after that we continued gaming with Tanz der Hornochsen! Playing number cards and avoid stepping into cow dung is the whole point of the game - not that entertainifn to be honest.

After that it became even stranger with Emotify - describing people, things and feelings with emojis and the rest of the team has to guess the thin was funny for about 10 minutes and will not be repeated any time soon.

We then had a lot of laughs in the end with several rounds of Relestrations and here are some of the highlights:

Yoda vs. Darth Vader (should have been Star Wars)

Man with rope

Child benefits

Small change

Cheer(ing)

The tooth-fairy and her brother

Tooth-fairy tongs

Dead as a mouse (doornail in english)

Rat mushroom

Leg cuffs

Leg corest

Fish leg corset

A nice piece of crumpet (in german "steep tooth")

Stock price of the Tooth-fairy

Stock price fairy

Dollhouse

God throws a human off the roof

Angel throws bomb

Legless squirrel with tiger-voice

Roaring squirrel without legs

Neighbor

Throw watering can at neighbor
