Some more boardgaming

Yesterday we were at Alten Donau with some dear friends. But before we started playing boardgames we had to do some work in the garden.

We played Unlock! and Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion - both of which we quite funny and also popular with our friends.

Later in the evening we came back to our flat and watched the Masters of the Universe SchleFaZ before we went to bed.

Gestern waren wir mit lieben Freunden an der Alten Donau. Doch bevor wir ans Brettspielen gegangen sind, haben wir ein bisschen den Garten gemacht.

Gespielt wurde dann Unlock! und Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion - beides ist sehr gut angekommen.

Spät Abends sind wir dann nach Hause gefahren und haben und noch den Masters of the Universe SchleFaZ angeschaut bevor es ins Bett ging.

Boardgaming on the only day off

Yesterday was the only day I had off in the current week and we spent it playing boardgames!!!

We started with the anniversary edition of The Castles of Burgundy, was I finally was able to acquire.

Afterwards we played Wingspan and one scenario of Unlock! before we went onto the couch for some NFL action.

The ink of the day is similar to roasted chestnuts.

Gestern war der eine freier Tag der Woche und wir haben Brettspiele gespielt!!!

Begonnen haben wir mit Die Burgen von Burgund, welches in endlich auch in der Jubiläumsedition bekommen haben.

Danach ging es mit Flügelschlag und einer Episode von Unlock! weiter bevor dann zur NFL auf die Couch ging.

Die Tinte des Tages ist gerösteten Maroni nachempfunden.

Boardgaming all day long

This sunday we played boardgames all day long. We started with Village Attacks. Here the evil player characters try to survive waves of angry town mobs before they burn down their castle.

After that we played one of the scenarios of the latest Unlock! game and although we played the one on easy difficulty we just managed to solve it in time.

In the evening couch and tv shows - as usual.

Am Sonntag haben wir den ganze Tag Brettspiele gespielt. Begonnen haben wir mit Village Attacks. Hier versuchen die bösen Charaktere sich gegen den Mob aus dem Dorf zu wehren, bevor dieser das Schloss abbrennt.

Danach haben wir dann noch eines der neuen Unlock! Abenteuer gespielt und obwohl es vom Schwierigkeitsgrad leicht war, haben wir es nur knapp innerhalb der Zeit geschafft.

Abends dann wieder Couch und fernsehen - wie immer.

Boardgaming madness (with drawings)

This saturday we went to dear friends of ours for boardgaming and brunching. After the food was done, we started with The Grimm Forest.

After that the fairy tales ended and we started drawing with Telestrations. The best drawings can be found down at the bottom of this blog post.

Then we played an Escape the Room game: Unlock! and once again didn't make it in time to leave the island of Doctor Goorse.

The conclusion was a few games of Codenames: Pictures before we went back home to our cats.

Am Samstag waren wir bei lieben Freunden zum Brettspielen und Brunches eingeladen. Nachdem das Essen vorbei war, haben wir mit The Grimm Forest begonnen.

Danach war die Zeit der Märchen vorbei und wir haben gezeichnet, bei Stille Post Extrem. Die besten Zeichnungen gibt es wie immer weiter unten im Blogpost.

Dann haben wir ein Escape the Room Spiel gespielt, nämlich Unlock! und haben es wieder knapp nicht geschafft die Insel des Doktor Goorse zu verlassen.

Zum Abschluss haben wir dann noch ein paar Partien Codenames: Pictures gespielt bevor wir nach Hause zu den Katzen gefahren sind.
