Games and more

Yesterday we couldn't sleep as long as we wanted, because we had to leave earlier. For lunch we went to get ourselves food from a grill buffet, which we tried for the first time. It was quite good, bur for my taste there was too little variaty of meat and sides. The salad buffet on the other hand was quite ok.

On our way home we manage to get into the rain and then I had to get out the couch piece from the day before.

Back home we were waiting for out guests, dear friends who we invited for a board game afternoon.

The first game we played was Las Vegas, which was quite well taken by our guests. After that there was small break and we presented some holiday pictures on our screen. After that we helped ourselves to the delicious food our guests brought with them, before we started play the next game: Dungeon Fighter.

I think there are no friends left at the moment, with whom we didn't play that game already. It's always great fun and good for some laughter all the way. This time the fight was quite close again, but we managed to do it thanks to some healing fountains on our way and then we finally defeated Great Cthulhu!

The last game we played then was Star Fluxx.

In the evening we watched the current episode of Defiance followed by an old episode of Top Gear before we went to bed.

Gandalf is obviously quite pleased to be in the same picture as me.

Gestern konnten wir nicht so lange schlafen wie wir wollten, weil wir relativ früh aus der Wohnung mussten. Zu Mittag gab es ein Grill Buffet, welches wir zum ersten Mal ausprobiert hatten. Es war recht gut, wenn auch die Auswahl meiner Meinung nach beim Fleisch und bei den Beilagen etwas beschränkt war. Dafür war das Salat Buffet relativ ordentlich.

Auf dem Heimweg hat uns dann der Regen erwischt und in diesem musste ich dann die Couch Sesseln vom Vortag aus dem Auto räumen.

Wieder zuhause haben wir dann schon auf unsere Gäste gewartet, denn es kamen liebe Freunde zu uns auf einen Brettspielnachmittag.

Als erstes haben wir Las Vegas gespielt, was bei allen sehr gut angekommen ist. Danach gab es eine kurze Pause in der Urlaubsfotos auf der Leinwand präsentiert wurden. Dann wurden wir durch die mitgebrachten Speisen köstlichst versorgt, bevor es zum nächsten Spiel weiterging: Dungeon Fighter.

Ich glaube mittlerweile haben wir das Spiel schon allen unseren Freunden nähergebracht und es ist immer für einen Lacher und lustige Videos oder Bilder gut. Auch diesmal waren wir immer knapp dran, hatten aber dank der Heilbrunnen immer wieder Glück und konnten schlussendlich Cthulhu besiegen.

Zum Abschluss gab es noch eine Partie Star Fluxx.

Am Abend dann haben wir uns die aktuelle Folge von Defiance angeschaut und dann noch eine ältere Folge von Top Gear bevor wir ins Bett gefallen sind.

Gandalf is sichtlich happy mit mir auf dem Bild draufsein zu dürfen.
