Yesterday the time for the super-secret-suprprise-birthday-party for a friend of ours has finally arrived. His wife nearly lived with us for the last week to produce the perfect cake.
The weatherforecast was unfortunately not very good, but the weather kept it together long enough for us to do some grilling and eating.
Much later the rain came and poured down on us, so that we had to close down the party and go home.
Back home our cats waited for us and wanted to be played with.
The conclusion of the day was that we watched the first episode of the latest Doctor Who season. I just have to say "new Doctor, new interpretation, new pace". Whether this is good or bad I can't say right now.
