Boardgaming all hot day long

This saturday I quickly baked a red currant cake before it was getting too hot in the apartment.

In the afternoon dear friends came over and we played boardgames and showed them our pictures from the last cruise we did this year.

Am Samstag habe ich in der Früh schnell einen Ribiselkuchen gebacken, bevor die Wohnung unerträglich heiß war.

Am Nachmittag waren dann wieder liebe Freunde zu Gast mit denen wir Brettspiele gespielt haben und denen wir unsere letzte Kreuzfahrt mit Bildern präsentiert haben.

Weekend here I come

This friday was another good day at work and after we did some planning for the upcoming two weeks I went back home.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual and we started into our weekend.

Am Freitag war wieder ein guter Tag in der Arbeit und nachdem wir uns für die nächsten zwei Wochen koordiniert haben, bin ich dann schließlich nach Hause gegangen.

Am Abend dann Couch und Fernsehserien und ab ins Wochenende.

Still very hot

Yesterday was a normal day at work, although it was as hot as the day before.

In the evening we went out with dear friends to Pak Choi for dinner and met up before their and our vacation one last time to talk about stuff.

Afterwards we went back home and onto the couch to watch an episode of a tv show before we went to bed.

Gestern war wieder ein normaler Tag in der Arbeit, obwohl es genauso heiß war wie am Tag zuvor.

Am Abend sind wir dann gemeinsam mit Freunden zum Pak Choi Abendessen gegangen und haben uns vor deren und unserem Urlaub ein letztes Mal zum Plaudern getroffen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und auf die Couch zu einer Episode einer Fernsehserie bevor wir ins Bett gefallen sind.

Really, really hot

Yesterday I was at my parents for a nice lunch.

Afterwards I went back tot he shop, but the day was really bad, which was probably caused by the fact that it was the hottest day of the year and for some time our street was without any people.

Back home in the evening it was again time for some tv shows on the couch.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern und habe ein gutes Essen bekommen.

Danach ging es wieder ins Geschäft, aber der Tag war ziemlich schlecht, was vermutlich daran lag dass es der heißeste Tag des Jahres war und unsere Strasse zeitweise auch menschenleer war.

Am Abend zuhause dann gab es wieder die üblichen Fernsehserien auf der Couch.

Good day, bad evening

The first day at work with our much faster internet was a real success - but the part of the internet connection in this was rather minor.

In the evening at home I was so exhausted, that I went to bed with a cold, wet facecloth on my head, because I was having a rather string headache.

Der erste Tag in der Arbeit mit dem schnelleren Internet war wieder ein super Erfolg - das Internet war jetzt aber nicht so maßgeblich daran beteiligt.

Am Abend zuhause war ich aber so fertig und erledigt, dass ich vor lauter Hitze nur ins Bett gekippt bin und mir einen nassen Fetzen aufs Haupt gelegt habe, da ich wirklich starkes Kopfweh hatte.

Success

Yesterday I was at work, although it was our day off. But since we got our new internet connection installed, I had to be there. It all went well and without any problems and so we finally have arrived in the 21st century internetwise!

As a reward for the hard work we went to Pause am Berg for lunch before we went home and stayed there to escape the heat.

In the afternoon we did chores and later that evening the usual tv shows o'couch.

Gestern war ich auch in der Arbeit, obwohl es der freie Tag gewesen wäre. Da aber der neue Internetanschluss installiert wurde, musste ich auch vor Ort sein. Es hat aber alles ohne Probleme geklappt und jetzt sind wir im 21. Jahrhundert mit der Internetanbindung angekommen!

Als Belohnung sind wir dann zur Pause am Berg Mittagessen gegangen bevor wir uns wieder in der Wohnung vor der Hitze verbarrikadiert haben.

Am Nachmittag war Hausarbeit angesagt und dann am Abend wie üblich die Fernsehserien auf der Couch.

We did Escape!

This sunday we went with friends to an escape room game, which we hadn't visited before: First Escape in the first district.

The riddles were more of a technical nature than in the one escape room we did before, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we will be visiting another escape room together rather soon.

After that we went to Kolar for a quick snack and then we all went back home.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows again, what else.

Am Sonntag sind wir mit Freunden in ein - für uns - neues Escape Room Spiel gegangen: First Escape im ersten Bezirk.

Es waren mehr technische Spielereien und Rätsel als bei unserem ersten Escape Room, aber es hat allen gut gefallen und wir werden bald wieder einen Escape Room gemeinsam aufsuchen.

Anschließend sind wir zum Kolar essen gegangen und von dort aus ging es wieder nach Hause.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien, was sonst.

The Con was a success!

This saturday saw the return of the Vienna Fantasy Gaming Convention, which was organised by our store. Meanwhile I was at the shop and had a rather good day there as well.

Afterwards I went there to pick up my dear, who sold some of our games there, and we went out for dinner together at Rinderwahn.

Afterward we went home and just fell exhausted onto our couch.

Am Samstag war die Vienna Fantasy Gaming Convention, welche vom unserem Geschäft organisiert wurde. Ich war in der Zeit im Geschäft und es war auch hier ein sehr guter Tag.

Anschließend habe ich dann meinen Schatz, der für uns unsere Spiele auf der Con verkauft hat, abgeholt und wir sind gemeinsam noch zum Rinderwahn essen gegangen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und wir sind nur mehr erschöpft auf die Couch gefallen.

Great day at work

This friday was avery good day at work and so I went home to couch and tv shows very happily.

Der Freitag was ein sehr guter Tag in der Arbeit und so bin ich frohen Mutes am Abend zu Couch und Fernsehserien nach Hause gegangen.

Some cool times are coming

Yesterday I baked a cake in the morning, since my parents visited us in the afternoon for the cruise presentation.

Luckily it got colder in the evening and so we watched tv shows with open windows this time around.

Gestern habe ich zunächst einen Kuchen gebacken, für den Nachmittag als meine Eltern zur Kreuzfahrtpräsentation zu uns gekommen sind.

Zum Glück hat es am Abend abgekühlt und so haben wir dann bei offenen Fenstern Fernsehserien geschaut.

Work was good

This wednesday I was for lunch at my parents and afterwards went back to the shop.

In the evening it was couch time and tv shows - this time open end since today it's a bank holiday.

Am Mittwoch war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern und dann ging es wieder zurück ins Geschäft.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch and Fernsehserien angesagt - mit open end, da heute ja Feiertag ist.

Normal day

This tuesday it was a normal day at work and in the evening the couch wanted to host us.

Am Dienstag war ein normaler Tag im Geschäft und am Abend ausruhen auf der Couch angesagt

Too hot for most stuff

This monday it was chores once more and otherwise not moving to much, as the heat was raging on.

In the evening the usual couch and tv shows combo.

Am Montag war wieder Hausarbeit angesagt und ansonsten möglichst nicht zu viel anstrengen, da die Hitze weiterhin vorgeherrscht hat.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien.

Let's take a break at Pause am Berg

This sunday we went out for lunch with some dear friends to Pause am Berg.

After that we went back to our place and played a lot of boardgames.

The icecream from Tichy, from the day before, also didn't survive very long on this hot day.

In the evening it was once again time for couch and Netflix, which didn't have any problems showing us what we wanted...

Am Sonntag waren wir wieder mit lieben Freunden Mittagessen in der Pause am Berg.

Danach ging es zu uns und es wurde wieder Brettgespielt was das Zeug hält.

Das Tichy Eis vom Vortag hat es natürlich auch nicht überlebt.

Am Abend dann war wieder Couchzeit angesagt, mit Netflix, welches sich ganz normal verhalten hat...

A day off - but still very hot

This saturday we relaxed a bit and did the weekly chores.

We also went out and picked up some supplies from Tichy for today.

In the evening we wanted to watch Mad Max Fury Road on Netflix, but network troubles forced us to watch it on bluRay instead - after I updated the PS4....

Am Samstag haben wir uns etwas ausgeruht und Hausarbeit gemacht.

Dazwischen waren wir dann auch "kurz" beim Tichy Nachschub für heute einkaufen.

Am Abend dann wollten wir uns Mad Max Fury Road auf Netflix anschauen, aber schlussendlich haben wir's uns dann auf bluRay anschauen müssen, weil Netflix gesponnen hat, und nachdem ich die PS4 upgedatet hatte...

End of the week reached

This friday everything was good again and we had a strong day at work.

In the evening I went home and onto the couch as usual.

Am Freitag war die Welt wieder in Ordnung und es war ein sehr guter Tag in der Arbeit.

Am Abend ging es dann nach Hause und auf die Couch wie immer.

Some nice dinner with friends

Yesterday was another very bad day at work, not a lot of customers showed up and most of the day there was no sale.

In the evening I went out with friends to dinner at Steman, very nice local cuisine.

Later I went home and onto the couch for some tv shows.

Gestern war wieder ein ganz schlechter Tag in der Arbeit, die Kunden wollten scheinbar nicht kommen und so war den ganzen Tag nicht viel los.

Am Abend war ich dann mit Freunden im Steman essen, gute Hausmannskost.

Später dann ging es nach Hause zu Couch und Fernsehserien.

Hot in the city

Yesterday at noon I was at my parents for lunch and I got some sausages with potatoes and cucumber salad.

Then I went back to the store and although it was hot the whole day it was a decent day at work again

In the evening I went home to cool down and later watch some tv shows on the couch.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern zum Essen und habe Würsteln mit Kartoffeln und Gurkensalat bekommen.

Danach ging es zurück in Geschäft, das trotz der anhaltenden Hitze ganz gut gegangen ist.

Am Abend war dann abkühlen und Fernsehserien schauen am Programm.

What a heat wave

Yesterday was a normal day at work, but he heat of the day really got to me and in the evening I had to cool myself several times before getting rid of my headaches finally at night.

Gestern war ein normaler Tag in der Arbeit, aber die Hitze des Tages hat mir etwas zugesetzt, sodass ich mich zuhause dann mehrfach abkühlen musste und erst in der Nacht frei von Kopfweh war.

Take a step back

Yesterday was Whit Monday and we stayed home because of the massive heat and we relaxed a bit until in the evening it was time for the couch.

Gestern war Pfingstmontag und da sind wir bei der Hitze zuhause geblieben und haben uns ausgeruht bis es dann am Abend auf die Couch ging.

Some Father's Day

Yesterday was Father's Day and we met with the in-laws at Tichy for some icecream.

Afterwards we were allowed to go home on our own and not - like announced - invite them over for coffee and cake at our place...

So we stayed home and did some chores but mainly relaxed - which was not that easy considering the current summerly temperatures.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows again and finally somewhat cooler temperatures as well.

Gestern war Vatertag und wir haben uns mit den Schwiegereltern beim Tichy zu einem Eis getroffen.

Danach durften wir wieder allein nach Hause und musste nicht - wie angekündigt - noch auf Kaffee und Kuchen zu uns nach Hause einladen...

Daher haben wir uns zuhause eingesperrt und teils Hausarbeit gemacht und teils gespielt bzw. ausgeruht - was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen zur Zeit nicht so einfach ist.

Am Abend dann gab es wieder Couch und Fernsehserien und ein bisschen Entspannung was die Temperaturen anging.

Party on, dearie

This saturday my dear had a barbecue with a roleplaying session at Alten Donau and I helped her carry the food.

After that I went to Donaupark for a private photo walk - some of the pictures I took are here.

Back home I did some chores and than relaxed a bit as well until she came back home late at night.

Am Samstag hat mein Schatz eine Grillparty mit Rollenspiel an der Alten Donau veranstaltet und da habe ich ihr mit dem Tragen des Essens geholfen.

Danach ging ich in der Donaupark fotografieren - ein paar Schnappschüsse gibt es hier.

Zuhause habe ich dann Hausarbeit gemacht und mich ausgeruht bis sie spät in der Nacht wieder nach Hause gekommen ist.

Taxi!

This friday was a good day at work and afterwards I went back home.

Since my dear had been invited to the birthday party of her boss, I picked her up with our car late during the night, so that she didn't have to drive home all alone.

Am Freitag war auch wieder ein guter Tag in der Arbeit und danach ging es nach Hause.

Da mein Schatz zur Geburtstagsfeier ihres Chefs eingeladen war, habe ich sie dann spät in der Nacht mit dem Auto abgeholt, damit sie nicht in der Nacht nach Hause fahren muss.

Some days...

Yesterday was a good day at work and afterwards we went out for dinner with some dear friends - this time to Brandauer at Gerngross.

At first we ordered both drinks and food, and got our drinks rather quick. But the food was taking a long time to arrive, so after 45 minutes we asked the waited about it. Some time later he came back and apologised and assured us that in 10 minutes time the food will be served. 15 minutes later he came with some food, but only one of us got the food he ordered. So it was another "in 10 minutes time you'll get your food" followed by a quick "what did you all order exactly?"

In the end we all got the food we order, but it took nearly 1,5 hours to get there. Well, the food itself was ok, but the service was so bad that it will take again several years before I go back to eat there I'm afraid.

Since it was rather later when we came back home, we went straight to bed after feed the cats this evening.

Gestern war wieder ein guter Tag in der Arbeit und danach ging es mit Freunden wieder zum gemeinsamen Abendessen - diesmal zum Brandauer im Gerngross.

Nachdem wir das Essen und Trinken bestellt hatten, hatten wir recht bald unsere Getränke. Doch das Essen ließ auf sich warten und so haben wir dann nach 45 Minuten das erste Mal nachgefragt. Ein paar Minuten später kam der Kellner kleinlaut, dass die Bestellung wohl untergegangen sei, aber wir das Essen in 10 Minuten bekommen würden. 15 Minuten später bekamen dann zumindest einer von uns sein Essen, die restlichen gebrachten Speisen waren falsch. Daher wieder die "in 10 Minuten dann das korrekte Essen" Ansage, gefolgt von "was genau haben Sie bestellt?"

Schlussendlich haben wir alle das bekommen, was wir bestellt hatten, aber erst nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit. Tja, das Essen selber war ok, aber das Service unter jeder Kritik und es werden wohl wieder ein paar Jahre vergehen, bis ich das Brandauer erneut ausprobieren werde.

Nachdem wir auch ziemlich spät nach Hause gekommen sind, ging es dann nach der Katzenfütterung ins Bett.

Bake and shake

Yesterday at noon I was at my parents for lunch and I got a great curry chicken.

After that I went back to work and later left early because I baked a cake for my dear for tomorrow.

In the evening it was time for couch and tv shows again until we went to bed.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern und habe ein gutes Curry Huhn bekommen.

Danach ging es zurück zur Arbeit und dann aber schon früher nach Hause, da ich für meinen Schatz für morgen noch etwas gebacken habe.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien bis es ins Bett ging.

Summer is suddenly here

Yesterday was a good day at work and thanks to the thick walls in the shop it was rather cool inside compared to the sudden hot summer weather outside.

In the evening I went straight home and onto the couch to the usual tv shows.

Gestern war wieder ein guter Tag in der Arbeit und dank dem Altbau war es im Geschäft auch angenehm kühl während vor der Tür der Sommer plötzlich da war.

Am Abend ging es dann gleich nach Hause und zu den üblichen Fernsehserien auf die Couch.

Once again good food

This monday we first went out grocery shopping.

In the afternoon my dear had an appointment and in the meantime I did the rest of the chores.

For dinner we went out once again to Pause am Berg.

Back home again it was time for couch and tv shows as usual.

Am Montag waren wir zunächst einkaufend unterwegs.

Am Nachmittag hatte dann mein Schatz einen Termin und ich habe weiter die Hausarbeit gemacht.

Zum Abendessen sind wir dann wieder zur Pause am Berg gegangen.

Wieder zuhause ging es dann bald auf die Couch und wir haben weiter Fernsehserien geschaut.

Some boardgaming

This sunday we went to friends for boardgaming, but our car battery decided that it was time to die. So 1,5 hours later we finally were able to drive to our friends and start the boardgaming afternoon.

We started with Meeple Circus and I guess everyone liked this little gem.

After that we had a quick icecream break and them we played some trick taking games.

Since today is a normal working day we didn't stay too long and came home earlier than usual.

Therefore we still were able to watch one episode of a tv show before we went to bed ourselves.

Am Sonntag wollten wir zu Freunden zum Brettspielen fahren, aber die Autobatterie hat gemeint so muss jetzt eingehen. Also 1,5 Stunden später ging es dann doch mit einer neuen Batterie zum Brettspielen.

Wir haben zunächst Meeple Circus gespielt und es hat allen gut gefallen.

Danach gab es eine Eispause und dann ging es mit diversen Stichspielen weiter.

Nicht allzu spät sind wir dann nach Hause gefahren, weil heute ja normaler Arbeitstag ist.

Daher ging sich dann noch ein schnelles Couch und Fernsehserien schauen bei uns aus.

Slow weekend

This saturday was time to relax and do some of the chores.

In the afternoon we "had to" to go Tichy because we bring some icecream for today's boardgaming with us.

In the evening it was couching and watching tv shows as usual.

Am Samstag war ausruhen und Hausarbeit angesagt.

Am Nachmittag "mussten" wir zum Tichy da wir heute Eis zum Brettspielen mitbringen werden.

Am Abend dann Couch und Fernsehserien.
