A friday's shopping trip

Yesterday after work we immediately went on our shopping trip. First we stopped at The Mall at Landstrasse. Since the reconstruction I haven't been there and I have to say I don't like it much. For lunch we went to Sternzeichen, but the food was very mediocre, but this may be because we like the food at Sichuan so much better.

Afterwards we wenr to Interspar shopping and then get some tasty treats from Cinnabon for the Planet Harry team.

Next stop was at Audiamo where I got another audiobook this week. On our way down to Mariahilferstrasse we stopped at Grand Cru, bakery Felzl and the international supermarket Prosi.

Finally arriving at Mariahilferstrasse we found out that Donut Heaven still hasn't returned from the summer break and so we went straight on to Planet Harry. There I only found one new comic - like tge week before, not much to buy - and we soon were on our way back home.

There we were greeted by two hungry cats, who were quite disappointed that we didn't bring them dead raw fish to eat. But on the other hand we played with them a lot and were quite exhausted afterwards from our day's work.

In the evening we were in the mood for experiments and so we watched episodes of The Quest (fantasy Big Brother, filmed at local castle Kreuzenstein) and Drunk History (drunken amis tell stories about their history). Both of those didn't go well with my dear so I guess next time we will revert to the stuff we already know.

The pussy cat likes to bathe in the sun, at least for the time there is a sun.

Gestern sind wir nach der Arbeit gleich zum Shoppen aufgebrochen. Wir waren zunächst in The Mall in der Landstrasse. Seit dem Umbau war ich noch nicht dort gewesen, aber ganz so toll hat es mir dort nicht gefallen. Das Essen im Sternzeichen war bestensfalls als mittelmäßig zu bezeichnen, aber vielleicht sind wir durch das Sichuan schon zu sehr verwöhnt.

Danach ging es zum Interspar einkaufen und dann noch beim Cinnabon ein Mitbringsel für das Planet Harry Team erstehen.

Die nächste Station war dann schon das Audiamo wo auch diese Woche wieder ein neues Hörspiel auf mich gewartet hat. Auf dem Weg zur Mariahilferstrasse haben wir dann noch Abstecher beim Grand Cru, der Bäckerei Felzl und den internationalen Supermarkt Prosi gemacht.

Auf der Mariahilferstrasse war dann der Donut Heaven noch immer nicht an seinem angestammten Platz zu finden und so sind wir dann direkt zum Planet Harry gegangen. Dort habe ich mir - wie schon die Woche davor - außer einem neuen Comic nicht viel gefunden und wir sind dann schon bald Richtung Heimat aufgebrochen.

Dort haben uns dann die hungrigen Katzen schon erwartet und waren ein wenig enttäuscht dass es diese Woche keinen guten rohen Fisch gab. Stattdessen wurde mit ihnen viel gespielt und wir waren dann relativ erschöpft vom Tageswerk.

Am Abend waren wir dann noch experimentierfreudig und haben uns Episoden von The Quest (Fantasy Big Brother, gedreht auf Burg Kreuzenstein) und Drunk History (betrunkene Amis erzählen Geschichten von ihrer Geschichte) angeschaut. Beides wurde nicht so gut von meinem Schatz aufgenommen und wir werden wohl wieder zu altbekanntem übergehen.

Die Mieze Katze sonnt sich, solange es noch Sonne gibt.

Pizza and ice-cream

This saturday we were more active than the day before, although it was as hot. My dear went shopping for cloth with a dear friend, while I went to the street market and bought some rasp- and strawberries. We then met in Mariahilf where we got ourselves lunch at Vapiano.

I wanted a zucchini pizza, but when it was finished it was more burnt than edible, but the cook still asked me if I wanted to have it. Of course I didn't and so I waited till the next one was finished. That one was much better, althought not completely unburnt - still I took and ate it.

Afterwards we went on shopping, first at Audiamo - for my audio books - and then at Grand Cru - for lemon curd and tea. On our way back home we stopped at Favoritenstrasse and there I found replacements for my sunglasses, the last ones I forgot in scotland last year.

To conclude a great shopping trip we got ourselves some ice-cream at Tichy.

The cats at home begged us to turn down the heat, but we weren's able to do that. So they decided to sleep on instead.

Am Samstag waren wir etwas mehr unterwegs, obwohl das Wetter nicht wirklich kühler war. Mein Schatz ist mit einer lieben Freundin Stoff einkaufen gegangen und ich war inzwischen am Markt und habe Him- und Erdbeeren eingekauft. Wir haben uns dann in Mariahilf wieder getroffen und sind gemeinsam zum Vapiano Mittag essen gegangen.

Ich wollte eigentlich eine Zucchini-Pizza haben, als sie allerdings fertig war war sie sehr verbrannt und der Koch meinte noch ob ich sie trotzdem haben will. Ich verneinte natürlich und konnte dann noch einmal warten bis die zweite fertig war. Diese war dann nur mehr ein wenig angeschwärzt und so habe ich sie genommen.

Danach ging es zum Shoppen beim Audiamo - für meine Hörspiele - und ins Grand Cru - für Lemon Curd und Tees. Zurück sind wir dann noch über die Favoritenstrasse gegangen wo ich endlich auch Ersatz für meine Sonnenbrille gefunden habe - meine letzte habe ich voriges Jahr in Schottland vergessen.

Damit der Ausflug auch noch gut zu Ende gegangen ist, sind wir dann auch noch zum Tichy auf ein Eis eingefallen.

Die Katzen zuhause waren auch froh uns zu sehen und haben uns gebeten die Hitze abzudrehen, was wir leider nicht machen konnten. So haben sie dann halt einfach wieder weiter geschlafen.
