Short trips outside the bed

Yesterday I went to the commercial court and got my entry into the companies register so that my new future can start in August without any delay.

My dear is still ill, so I did the grocery shopping alone.

Gestern war ich beim Handelsgericht und habe mich ins Firmenbuch eintragen lassen, damit meine neue Zukunft ab August starten kann.

Mein Schatz war immer noch zu krank, sodass ich wieder einkaufe gegangen bin.

Hot and ill

We stayed home and mostly in bed on sunday as well.

Auch den Sonntag haben wir zuhause verbracht und uns auskuriert.

Still ill

Since we are ill we spent the day at home, except for a quick grocery shopping trip.

Nachdem wir krank sind, haben wir den Tag - außer einem kurzen Einkauf - zuhause verbracht und erholen uns.

Back from the cruise

Yesterday we came back from the cruise and my father was kind enough to pick us up from the airport again.

Since we caught a cold a few days ago we were just getting home and into bed, hopefully we'll be back and up in a few days to do the post-cruise stuff.

Gestern sind wir von der Kreuzfahrt zurückgekommen und mein Vater hat uns netterweise wieder vom Flughafen abgeholt.

Da wir uns vor ein paar Tagen verkühlt haben, sind wir jetzt nur fertig und hoffen die nächsten Tage gut zu überstehen damit dann die Nachbereitungen der Reise von statten gehen können.

On a cruise...

Yesterday we spent the whole day at home preparing for our cruise. The cats were rather relaxed and didn't know what was coming. Today it will certainly be different as they will notice that we are gone for some time. My parents are kind enough to look after our cats during that time and I would like to thank them for that very much!!!!

Since we are on a cruise right now, I thought it a good idea to have our current position in this blog during our trip.

Gestern haben wir uns nur auf die bevorstehende Kreuzfahrt vorbereitet. Die Katzen waren noch sehr relaxed, aber das wird sich heute dann schon gegeben haben, nachdem sie wissen dass wir jetzt etliche Tage nicht zuhause sein werden. Meine Eltern sind aber so lieb und kümmern sich in unserer Abwesenheit um sie - vielen Dank dafür!!!!

Nachdem wir gerade auf Kreuzfahrt sind habe ich mir gedacht, dass es ein nettes Service ist, dass an der Stelle im Blog die aktuelle Position unseres Schiffes zu sehen ist.

Boardgaming before the vacation

Yesterday my dear and I went to lunch at Sichuan.

After that we went to a boardgame afternoon with my ex-colleagues and played Skull King and Tiny Epic Galaxies.

Afterwards we went home and there only onto the couch to watch tv shows.

Gestern war ich mit meinem Schatz zu Mittag beim Sichuan essen.

Danach ging es dann zu einem Brettspielnachmittag mit meinen Ex-Kollegen, wo wir Skull King und Tiny Epic Galaxies gespielt haben.

Danach waren wir dann am Abend nur mehr auf der Couch und haben Fernsehserien geschaut.

Some more chores to do

Yesterday I stayed home and did some more chores as well as entertaining the cats.

In the evening we just went onto the couch and watched tv shows.

Gestern bin ich zuhause geblieben und habe Hausarbeit gemacht bzw. habe auch die Katzen ausgiebig bespasst.

Am Abend war dann wieder Couch mit Fernsehserien angesagt.

Some more shopping

Yesterday I went to my parent for lunch and got some tasty paprika chicken with pasta.

On my way home I did some more shopping and at home I configured the last parts of the NAS - so august is a go, server-wise.

In the evening we just went onto the couch as usual and watched somd tv shows.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern zum Essen und es gab Paprikahuhn mit Nudeln.

Auf dem Heimweg bin ich dann noch schnell einkaufen gegangen und zuhause habe ich dann das NAS endgültig konfiguriert - der August kann kommen.

Am Abend gab es dann wieder die üblichen Fernsehserien auf der Couch.

A clean flat ready for the vacation

Yesterday I stayed home and did more chores, also because my parents will be looking after the cats during our vacation and a clean flat looks so much better.

After some bodily exhaustion I had to sleep a bit in the afternoon and soon was visited by two cats who also found that sleeping is the right thing to do.

In the evening I watched tv shows with my dear on the couch as usual.

Gestern bin ich zuhause geblieben und habe Hausarbeit gemacht, schon in Hinsicht auf den kommenden Urlaub, sodass die Wohnung nicht zu schlimm aussieht wenn meine Eltern dann auf die Katzen aufpassen.

Nach etlichen körperlichen Anstrengungen habe ich mich dann am Nachmittag hingelegt und die Katzen gleich daneben - so schläft es sich am besten.

Am Abend dann wieder Serien auf der Couch mit meinem Schatz.

Find work in the most unexpected places

This monday I was shopping in Mariahilf, mainly because I still had to sign the contract for the upcoming change of work. I also happened to meet the vacationing Planet Harry and also found something to work there.

SOme time later I finally was finished and I went home where we spent the evening on the couch as usual.

Am Montag war ich in Mariahilf unterwegs, unter anderem weil ich noch den Kaufvertrag unterschrieben musste. Dabei bin ich dann beim urlaubenden Planet Harry hängengeblieben und wir haben gleich etwas gefunden was wir arbeiten konnten.

Irgendwann bin ich dann aber doch gegangen und am Abend zuhause war dann wieder Couchtime angesagt.

Relaxing sunday

This sunday we stayed home and entertained the cats, as well as doing the chores. Sometime you just have to live slowly.

Am Sonntag sind wir zuhause geblieben, haben uns mit den Katzen beschäftigt und Hausarbeit erledigt. Auch erholen ist hin und wieder notwendig.

Boardgaming all day long

Yesterday we went to dear friends for a boardgame afternoon.

But we started the afternoon with some ice cream from Tichy.

The first game we played was Charterstone and we continued to play our campaign, but the board is getting crowded.

After that we tried some mental tricks with The Mind. It was not as easy as expected to play cards in the correct order as a team without communicating, but the group didn't seem to like the game very much.

After a great dinner we then crossed the board to political uncorrectness. First up was Verdammt Nochmal, a game where you have to order events due to their digust factor.

The conclusion of the evening was the german version of Cards Against Humanity, which is called Kampf gegen das Spiessertum. And we really crossed some lines with this game this time around.

Gestern waren wir wieder einmal bei lieben Freunden zu einem Brettspielnachmittag eingeladen.

Begonnen haben wir allerdings mit Tichy Eis und dann ging das Spielen los.

Als erstes haben unsere Kampagne bei Charterstone weitergespielt und der Spielplan wird jetzt immer überfüllter.

Danach haben wir versucht mit übernatürlichen Kräften zu beeinflussen die richtige Reihenfolge von Karten zu legen - mit The Mind. Es ist allerdings nicht so gut gelaufen wie erwartet und auch nicht so der Renner in unserer Gruppe gewesen.

Nach einem guten Nachtmahl sind wir dann in den politisch unkorrekten Teil des Abends übergegangen. Zunächst musste jeder Karten nach dem Ekel-Index vor sich ablegen, bis es dann irgendwann hieß Verdammt Nochmal und die Einschätzung doch falsch war.

Zum Abschluss haben wir dann noch Kampf gegen das Spiessertum gespielt, auch weit außerhalb der Grenzen des guten Geschmacks.

The cruise could be starting right now!

Yesterday morning I went to AMS again, hopefully for the last time, and I should have worked out all the bureaucratic things.

Afterwards I went grocery shopping at the farmer's market and in the afternoon I met with my dear at Tichy.

The usual evening entertainment of tv show watching was continued this time by watching some YouTube videos of other passengers doing "our" cruise - so now we are really ready for our vacation!

Gestern Vormittag war ich noch einmal beim AMS, vermutlich zum letzten Mal, und habe alles Bürokratische erledigt.

Danach ging es wieder zum Markt einkaufen und am Nachmittag habe ich mit meinem Schatz den Tichy heimgesucht.

Die übliche Abendunterhaltung wurde wieder mit Fernsehserien durchgeführt, aber wir haben uns auch schon auf die Kreuzfahrt in einer Woche vorbereitet und haben YouTube Videos anderer Reisenden angeschaut - jetzt sind wir wirklich urlaubsreif!

At the vet and playing with NAS

This thursday morning I went to our vet with our princess - it was time for her usual "small maintenance". All went fine and now the small mouse-cat is less fluffy, due to her fur being brushed.

Then I stayed home and continued on installing the NAS for Planet Harry. Everything now is working as I wanted it to be and I even was able to install the homepage there as well, so now I have a playing ground for future updates.

In the evening we just went onto the couch as usual and watched tv shows.

Am Donnerstag war ich am Vormittag mit unserer Tante Tierarzt mit der Prinzessin - für ihr übliches "kleines Service". Es ist aber alles ok mit der Maus und sie schaut jetzt auch nicht mehr so aufgeplustert aus, nachdem sie ausgekämmt wurde.

Danach sind wir zuhause geblieben und ich hab weiter am NAS für Planet Harry gebastelt. Soweit ist jetzt alles fertig und auch die Homepage wurde darauf installiert, sodass ich in Zukunft Änderungen vorher offline testen kann.

Am Abend war dann wieder das übliche Fernsehserien schauen auf der Couch angesagt.

Some work for the future is underway

Yesterday noon I was at my parents and got some tasty lunch.

Before that I was shopping in Mariahilf and bought a NAS, which I installed and configured all afternoon for it's future use at Planet Harry.

In the evening we then just went onto the couch and watched tv shows.

Gestern war ich zu Mittag bei meinen Eltern zum Essen.

Davor war ich allerdings auch schon in Mariahilf unterwegs und habe eingekauft. Unter anderem ein NAS, welches ich dann am Nachmittag für seine zukünftige Benutzung im Planet Harry hergerichtet habe.

Am Abend haben wir dann wieder gemeinsam auf der Couch Fernsehserien geschaut.

Unemployment is starting

Early yesterday I went to AMS to start my unemployment. But since I'm starting something new in august already, that visit was merely of bureaucratic nature.

After that I went to the farmer's market and bought some stuff.

The rest of the day I did some more chores at home and also started to get rid of stuff I'm not using anymore.

In the evening we just went onto the couch and watched tv shows.

Gestern war ich in aller Früh beim AMS mich arbeitslos melden. Nachdem ich aber schon ab August wieder etwas zu tun habe, war das eher eine Formalität.

Danach bin ich dann zum Markt gegangen und habe groß eingekauft.

Den restlichen Tag habe ich mit dies und das verbracht, vor allem weiter die Wohnung herzurichten bzw. ein bisschen auszumustern.

Am Abend ging es dann auf die Couch und wir haben Fernsehserien geschaut.

Shopping spree

Yesterday we went on a shopping spree in Parndort and stayed there almost the whole day. We also had lunch there and tested out the Wagamama which was ok (it seems it had recently opened and the staff is rather unsure about what is what).

Back home the cats greeted us and we started washing our newly bought cloths.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows once again, but with cat hugging support.

Gestern waren wir den ganzen Tag in Parndorf unterwegs und haben dort groß eingekauft. Wir haben dort auch das Wagamama ausprobiert und es war ganz ok (scheinbar noch relativ neu, deswegen auch teilweise etwas verwirrt das Personal).

Wieder zuhause haben uns die Katzen schon erwartet und wir haben angefangen das neu gekaufte Gewand gleich zu waschen.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien mit intensivem Katzenschnuckeln.
