Much better day

Yesterday was good day at work again, in contrast to Tuesday.

After work I went to my parents, where I got a tasty apple pancake for dinner.

Afterwards I went home and tested the newly repaired washing machine - yes it's working again.

My dear had friends over for boardgaming and they played Sword & Sorcery way into the night.

Awful start of the working week

Yesterday was the first day since I started at Planet Harry which was really bad - I can't say what caused that but we hope the rest of February will not be as bad.

Back home in the evening I got some dinner and then we went onto the couch for the usual tv shows.

Not much rest for the working people

Yesterday was a rather normal day, including getting up earlier than expected. But I did some sleeping in the afternoon.

Otherwise we went grocery shopping and did our chores and in the evening we went onto the couch for the usual tv shows.

The longest night of the year

Yesterday it was day of relaxing and sleeping, since I spent the night watching the Oscars as usual until the very end.

I went to bed at 5:30 and got up again at 8:30 because health services rang me on the phone...

Some playing of games

Yesterday I relaxed a bit and went out to do some grocery shopping.

In the afternoon we went to a dear friend of our and played the prototype for a variant of Monopoly with her. Everything went rather well and after only 4 hours it was clear how the game was going.

After that we did a quick beta playtestsession of the new Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 roleplaying system, where we built some characters and played them in a short scenario.

In the evening we went home and onto the couch to our tv shows.

The week got me

Yesterday was good day at work again. Unfortunately the chaos around the washing machine repair appointment has not been solved and so now we have the "real" appointment next wednesday.

In the evening I went home exhausted and there I got dinner and then we went onto the couch for tv shows (still without BBC).

...still more to come

Yesterday was another good day at work. The rest of the day not so much though.

Our washing machine is broken and I wanted to make an appointment online and was glad I found one for today. But in the evening I found an email changing the appointment to next wednesday in the spam folder. No call - although I left my phone number - just like that. So now we just wait with doing the laundry till next wednesday...

In the evening I went to Sichuan for dinner with my dear and after that we went home for couch and tv shows, but BBC was not working any longer so it was other shows this time around on Netflix.

What a day...

Yesterday was one of those days. At work the newly bought barcode scanner stopped working just after one day. Since I bought it second hand online there's no warranty and no exchanging it for a working unit.

The deliveries also took quite a while, with the last one arriving just before I went to my parents for dinner.

At my parents I got some tasty pancakes, thankfully.

The vet also called with some bad news: our tom cat has kidney stones and our princess got herself a bladder infection. Both of them now need to take some additional medication.

In the evening I just went exhausted onto the couch and we watched the usual tv shows.

Back to work

Yesterday I went to work again and it was a quite good day, although I didn't receive all the shipments I was waiting for.

In the evening back home I got dinner and then we went onto the couch for tv shows until it was time for bed.

Quite expensive day

Yesterday we went to the vet with our pussy cat. Everything is rather all right except for her teeth, which need to looked after since one of the teeth already got a hole in it..

In the afternoon we got visited by friends who came for a boardgame afternoon. We played Sarkophag, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game and Stich-Meister.

After that we wanted to do some laundy, but we found out that our washing machine stopped working properly. So this day will cost us a real sum of money in the near future...

Boardgaming afternoon once more

Yesterday I was feeling better and so we decided not to cancel our planned boardgame afternoon with friends.

We started with yet two more scenarios of Betrayal Legacy. "Our" house is getting bigger and scarier with each play and it totally not our fault, I promise...

After that it was time for dinner, but we squeezed in another quick game before that and it was Food Chain - and yes, we did eat a lot!

Afterwards it was time for some politically uncorrect jokes with: Kampf gegen die Korinthenkacker and Joking Hazard.

The conclusion of the evening were one game of Stich-Meister followed by two games of Codenames

Still alive

Yesterday - on our day off - we went to the vet with out tomcat for his annual examination. Bubsi was not very happy, but after he survived all of it he was somewhat relaxed again.

Then we went out to do some grocery shopping and later - back home again - we ourselves also relaxed a bit.

In the evening we went on to play some more Super Mario Party and after that we watched some tv shows on the couch.

A normal day at work

Yesterday was a quite normal day at work and since I'm all alone this week, my mother was kind enough to visit me again.

In the evening I went to meet with an ex-colleague in a pub and we talked a bit.

Back home we just went onto the couch and watched some tv shows before we went to bed.

Not a great start of the week

Yesterday was - because of vacation week - a rather average day at work. Highlight of the day was the visit of my parents who where nearby and gave me a visit.

After I closed the shop I went back home and got a good dinner and some entertainment on the couch.

Not so Super Bowl-a-night

Yesterday first of all we slept longer, since we watched the Super Bowl until it's bitter end. Fortunately the cats were also very tired and let us sleep.

After that we went grocery shopping and then to the library. Back home again we did another round of power-napping, which the cats joined in as well.

In the evening I played some Assassin's Creed Odyssey again before we went onto the couch for the usual tv shows.

Super Bowl with Cthulhu

Yesterday we did our chores and later that afternoon we got visited by a dear friend.

Before we went onto the couch for the Super Bowl broadcast, we played a short one-shot session of the Call of Cthulhu role playing game.

Since we stayed up until the final second of the broadcast, we are now still asleep.

Escape this room Sherlock!

Yesterday we went to our first Escape Room game with some dear friends - SherLockd.

Although we were quite good, we didn't escape in time. But we were allowed to leave anyway. :)

After that we went to Mariahilf and had lunch at Vapiano.

Then we did our weekend grocery shopping and then we went back home where we relaxed and went onto the couch to watch tv shows.
