Father's Day

Yesterday we went out with the in-laws to Pause am Berg for lunch and afterwards they came to our flat, where we gave them the presentation of our last cruise (almost a year ago now). After that we had coffee and Tichy icecream.

After they have gone, we did some chores and later a had a Zoom meeting with Rachel Watches Star Trek, which was really entertaining and funny.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern waren wir mit den Schwiegereltern in der Pause am Berg Mittagessen und danach ging es zu uns nach Hause, wo wir ihnen die Präsentation der letzte Kreuzfahrt (schon fast ein Jahr her) gezeigt haben. Danach gab es noch Kaffee und Tichy Eis.

Nachdem sie gegangen waren, haben wir dann Hausarbeit gemacht und später hatte ich ein Zoom Meeting mit Rachel Watches Star Trek, was sehr unterhaltsam und lustig war.

Am Abend dann wieder Couch und Fernsehserien.

Schwarz weiß und nicht sehr erfreulich.

Yesterday after work I went to my parents and got a very tasty tiramisu - a feast I get annual around my birthday.

After that I went home and continued to download the games to the PS4 and I finished later that night doing so.

While the PS4 was updating we went onto the couch and continued watching tv shows.

Since I almost forget to mention, I got two packages in the mail yesterday as well: the first one was the Eternal Journal by YSDC, a very cool concept for a role playing journal with removable pages. Thanks for your hard work Paul!

The second package was more of a surprise, but the really nice team of Rachel Watches Star Trek sent me a very cool custom coffee mug. Thank you very much for that Rachel and Chris!

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern und habe ein gutes Tiramisu bekommen - ein Essen, das ich immer rund um meinen Geburtstag bekomme.

Danach ging es nach Hause und dort habe ich dann weiter die PS4 Spiele installiert und wurde damit auch noch in der Nacht fertig.

Während dem Update der PS4 haben wir uns dann auch auf die Couch gesetzt und wieder Serien geschaut.

Und weil ich es fast vergessen habe, gestern kamen auch zwei Päckchen mit coolem Inhalt an: Zum ersten kam das Eternal Journal von YSDC an, ein super cooles Konzept eines Rollenspiel Journals - flexibel und schnell austauschbare Seiten. Danke für deine harte Arbeit Paul!

Das zweite Päckchen war noch mehr eine Überraschung, aber das super nette Team von Rachel Watches Star Trek hat mir eine coole Kaffeetasse geschickt. Danke dafür an Rachel und Chris!

This saturday both of us were too exhausted to do anything outside our flat, so we stayed home and at first played some Divinity: Original Sin 2.

In the afternoon my body didn't want to have anything to do with stuff, we I had to lay down and relax a bit. In the evening I was fit enough to participate in the live chat with the cast of Rachel Watches Star Trek. After that we went onto the couch to watch some more tv shows.

Am Samstag waren wir beide zu fertig um irgendwas zu unternehmen, also sind wir zuhause geblieben und haben zunächst Divinity: Original Sin 2 gespielt.

Am Nachmittag musste ich mich dann hinlegen weil es mir mit dem Kreislauf schlecht gegangen ist, sodass ich dann erst am Abend wieder fit genug war zunächst beim Rachel Watches Star Trek live chat dabei zu sein. Danach haben wir auf der Couch wieder Fernsehserien geschaut bis wir schlafen gegangen sind.

Games and other fun

This saturday I went to my parents' house and there I changed the car's tyres together with my dad. After a really nice lunch I went back home and when I arrived our guest was already there.

First we started with two boardgames: Potion Explosion and Unlock!.

After that we played Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch.

Afterwards we gave the presentation of our last cruise.

And in the end I took part in the live chat for the Rachel Watches Star Trek podcast, which was funny especially when the hosts tried to pronounce my name correctly and succeeded.

Am Samstag bin ich zu meinen Eltern ins Haus gefahren und dann habe ich zusammen mit meinem Vater die Reifen gewechselt. Nach einem guten Mittagessen bin ich dann nach Hause gefahren und dort war unser Besuch schon gekommen und so haben wir dann das Nachmittagsprogramm gestartet.

Begonnen haben wir mit einer Partie Potion Explosion gefolgt von einem Abenteuer in Unlock!.

Danach ging es dann daran die Nintendo Switch und Super Mario Odyssey zu spielen.

Anschließend haben wir dann unsere Kreuzfahrtpräsentation hergezeigt.

Zum Abschluss des Tages habe ich dann noch an einem Live Chat vom Rachel Watches Star Trek Podcast teilgenommen, was sehr unterhaltsam war, speziell als sie versucht haben meine Vornamen in Englisch korrekt auszusprechen.
