Rainy and windy friday

Yesterday the weather was not great and so we were glad that we could stay home.

When the rain finally stopped in the evening I went to our vet with our tom cat for his annual check-up and injections.

Later I took part in another episode of Beyond the Vale: After Dark.

And finally after that we went onto the couch for a bit.

Gestern war das Wetter nicht sehr freundlich und wir waren froh nicht außer Haus zu müssen.

Erst am Abend, als der Regen aufgehört hatte, bin ich dann mit unserem Kater zur Tante Tierarzt gegangen für die jährlichen Untersuchungen und Impfungen.

Am späteren Abend war dann wieder Beyond the Vale: After Dark, wo ich teilgenommen habe.

Danach sind wir dann noch ein bisschen auf die Couch gefallen.

So this is the new year you say...

The first day of the new year started with us sleeping in. After that we did some of the chores to start the day.

For lunch I wanted to make us waffles, but our two waffle machines had other plans. So at first they spit out most of the dough and the rest burned inside the waffle machines. Instead I made pancakes from the rest of the dough and had to clean up half the kitchen after the mess.

My dear spent the afternoon playing WoW with friends and later in the evening I took part in the latest edition of the Beyond the Vale: After Dark podcast.

Later still we went onto the couch to get disappointed by the current Doctor Who Ney Year's episode.

Der ersten Tag des neuen Jahres haben wir damit begonnen lange auszuschlafen. Danach ging es ein bisschen an die Hausarbeit.

Zu Mittag wollte ich uns Waffeln machen, aber die beiden Waffeleisen hatten anderes vor. Also ist der Teig aus den Eisen herausgelaufen und der klägliche Rest dann innen angebrannt. So gab es dann den restlichen Teig als quasi Palatschinken zum Essen und ich hatte die halbe Küche zum Putzen.

Mein Schatz war am Nachmittag in WoW unterwegs und am Abend habe ich dann am Beyond the Vale: After Dark Podcast teilgenommen.

Noch etwas später sind wir dann auf die Couch gefallen und haben uns von der aktuellen Doctor Who Neujahrfolge enttäuschen lassen.

Some good and some bad things

Yesterday I went to my annual lung checkup and everything is perfectly well, unlike my shoulder which still hurts.

At noon I wanted to make us crêpe suzette, but I burnt the first batch of caramel and so the whole flat was full of smoke. The second attempt went better and my dear liked the meal very much.

Later that afternoon we went out for a walk through Böhmischer Prater and in the evening I participated in another episode of YSDC's Beyond the Vale: After Dark.

Following that we went onto the couch for some tv shows.

Gestern war ich beim Lungenfacharzt für meine jährliche Kontrolle und anders als bei der Schulter ist hier alles ok.

Zu Mittag habe ich uns Crêpe Suzette gemacht, aber leider das erste Karamell verbrannt, sodass die Wohnung voller Rauch war. Im zweiten Anlauf hat es dann geklappt und es hat meinem Schatz gut geschmeckt.

Am späteren Nachmittag sind wir dann wieder durch den Böhmischen Prater spazieren gegangen und am Abend war wieder eine Live Sendung von YSDC's Beyond the Vale: After Dark in der ich mich wieder fleissig beteiligt habe.

Anschliessend ging es noch auf die Couch zu Fernsehserien.

Another day at home (of more to come)

Yesterday we stayed home. While my dear was working from home, I listened to podcasts and prepared today's Halloween roleplaying scenario. In the afternoon we played some Path of Exile with our japanese lord.

In the evening I took part in another session of Beyond the Vale: After Dark, this time included a pubquiz from the National History Museum London.

Gestern sind wir zuhause geblieben. Während mein Schatz gearbeitet hat, habe ich Podcasts gehört und die heutige Halloween Rollenspielszenario vorbereitet. Am Nachmittag haben wir dann mit unserem japanischen Lord Path of Exile gespielt.

Am Abend hatte ich wieder eine Beyond the Vale: After Dark Session, die diesem unter anderem ein Pubquiz vom National History Museum London beinhaltet hat.

Entertainment all day long

Yesterday was day at home, although my dear went to friends in the afternoon while I played some more Path of Exile with out japanese lord.

In the evening there was another live show of Beyond the Vale, which I took part in and everyone was very happy with the result.

Gestern war wieder ein Tag zuhause, wobei mein Schatz am Nachmittag zu Freunden gefahren ist und ich mit unserem japanischen Lord Path of Exile gespielt habe.

Am Abend war dann wieder eine Live Show von Beyond the Vale, die uns allen viel Spaß gemacht hat.

Another funny After Dark

Yesterday we stayed home until I brought my dear to Alten Donau after work for her roleplaying session. On my way home I picked up a package that was sent to work, which should complete the archery stuff we need to go out shooting again today.

In the evening there was another live action and fun show of YSDC's Beyond the Vale: After Dark, which I participated again by being the poster gentleman.

Later, when my dear came home, we just went to bed.

Gestern waren wir zuhause und ich habe meinen Schatz nach ihrer Arbeit zur Alten Donau gebracht, wo sie ihre Rollenspielrunde hatte. Am Heimweg habe ich mir noch Paket aus der Arbeit geholt, da dorthin meine zusätzlichen Bogensachen gesendet wurden. Damit sollten wir jetzt alles habe um heute wieder Bogenschießen gehen zu können.

Am Abend gab es dann wieder eine Runde Live Action und Spaß mit YSDC's Beyond the Vale: After Dark, wo ich wieder aktiv mitgewirkt habe.

Später dann, als mein Schatz nach Hause gekommen ist, sind wir nur mehr ins Bett gefallen.

After Dark is when the fun starts

Yesterday we stayed home again, except for a short shopping trip in the morning to refill the freezer with Tichy icecream.

In the afternoon we played some online games with our japanese Lord and in the evening there was another live show of YSDC - this time a new format: Beyond the Vale: After Dark

Afterwards we went onto the couch to watch some tv show episodes as usual.

Gestern waren wir auch zuhause, bis auf einen kleinen Ausflug am Vormittag wo ich beim Tichy wieder etwas Nachschub eingekauft habe.

Am Nachmittag waren wir mit unserem japanischen Lord bei online Computerspielen unterwegs und am Abend gab es dann wieder einen Live Show von YSDC - diesmal ein neues Format: Beyond the Vale: After Dark

Danach ging es dann noch auf die Couch um ein paar Episoden von Fernsehserien zu schauen.
