Farewell to QI with Stephen Fry

Yesterday after work I went to the post office and did some grocery shopping afterwards, since my dear wasn't feeling too well. While we were having dinner we played some Guild Wars 2 and went aroung the Heart of Thornes zones and even found some events we hadn't done before.

The conclusion of the evening was on the couch with the latest episode of Once Upon a Time and the very last two episodes of QI with Stephen Fry.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei der Post und danach einkaufen, nachdem sich mein Schatz nicht so wohl gefühlt hatte. Zum Abendessen waren wir dann in Guild Wars 2 im Heart of Thornes Gebiet unterwegs und haben ein paar Events gemacht, die wir noch nicht kannten.

Zum Abschluss war dann wieder Couch angesagt und wir haben uns die aktuelle Folge von Once Upon a Time und die zwei letzten Episoden von QI mit Stephen Fry angeschaut.

Lazy evening

Yesterday evening we went to Guild Wars 2 and experienced more content of Heart of Thornes.

Later that evening we went onto the couch and watched the most recent episodes of The Flash, Arrow and Have I Got a Bit More News For You.

Gestern waren wir am Abend ein wenig in Guild Wars 2 unterwegs und haben uns weiter im Heart of Thornes umgesehen.

Später dann ging es auf die Couch und wir haben uns die aktuellen Folgen von The Flash, Arrow und Have I Got a Bit More News For You angesehen.

Guild Wars 2 expansion almost here!

Yesterday evening - in anticipation of the release of Guild Wars 2's expansion Heart of Thorns - I did some cleaning up in our guild.

After that it was couch time with two episodes of The Simpsons, one episode Horrible Histories and the most recent Once Upon A Time, before we went to bed.

Gestern am Abend habe ich - in Vorbereitung auf das Erscheinen der Guild Wars 2 Expansion Heart of Thorns - ein bisschen in der Gilde aufgeräumt.

Danach ging es dann auf die Couch und wir haben uns zwei Episoden The Simpsons, eine Folge Horrible Histories und die aktuelle Once Upon A Time angeschaut, bevor es ins Bett ging.

Guild Wars 2 - Heart of Thorns

After breakfast we went in to do some shopping this saturday, although flying would be more specific, as it was quite windy again. For lunch we went to Sichuan and got some great food.

Back home we entertained our cats, since they were very active and wanted us to play with them.

Later that afternoon it was finally time for the big reveal of ArenaNet - the producer of Guild Wars 2 - during the PAX about the future of Guild Wars 2.

Guild Wars 2 - Heart of Thorns

- it's the first real expansion for the game
- a release date or price is still unknown
- a new profession is added (Revenant)
- PvP and WvW get a complete new map each
- a new region (Maguuma Jungle) is ready to be explored
- for character development they are adding masteries and specializings
- guilds can obtain guild halls
- precursors (for legendary weapons) will be included in the rewards for epic achievements

This all sounds very good so far, but I wished they would have announced a release date as well. So we now have to wait for the weekly reveals as to when it will finally arrive.

Nach dem Frühstück sind wir am Samstag einkaufen gegangen oder besser fast geflogen, da es etwas windig war. Zu Mittag sind wir beim Sichuan eingekehrt und haben uns gut versorgen lassen.

Wieder zuhause haben wir uns dann mit den Mieze Katzen beschäftigt, die sehr aufgeweckt und spiellustig waren.

Am späteren Nachmittag war es dann soweit, die große Ankündigung von ArenaNet - dem Hersteller von Guild Wars 2 - auf der PAX zur Zukunft von Guild Wars 2 wurde live übertragen.

Guild Wars 2 - Heart of Thorns

- es ist die erste echte Expansion für das Spiel
- ein Veröffentlichungsdatum und einen Preis gibt es noch nicht
- es kommt eine neue Klasse dazu (Revenant)
- sowohl für PvP als auch für WvW kommt jeweils eine komplett neue Karte dazu
- es gilt ein neues Gebiet (Maguuma Jungle) zu erkunden
- die Charakterentwicklung wird mittels neuer Spezialisierungen und Masteries erfolgen
- Gilden bekommen die Möglichkeit Guilden Hallen zu erwerben
- Precursors (für Legendary Weapons) werden als Belohnungen für epische Achievements erhältlich sein

Das klingt alles schon sehr gut, nur ein Releasedatum wäre auch nicht schlecht gewesen. So dürfen wir jetzt warten bis weitere Informationen in den nächsten Wochen veröffentlicht werden.
