Boardgaming but still only online

Yesterday we played some boardgames online with dear friends on Boardgamearena. In the afternoon we changed over to Guild Wars 2 as we tried to remember as how to actually play our classes again.

In the evening it was couch and tv shows as usual.

Gestern haben wir mit lieben Freunden Brettspiele auf der Boardgamearena gespielt. Am späteren Nachmittag sind wir dann nach Guild Wars 2 gewechselt und haben versucht uns wieder zurecht zu finden.

Am Abend dann natürlich wieder Couch und Fernsehserien wie immer.

Walking the Path of Fire

Yesterday we slept longer - well as long as you can when you have cats - and spent a relaxing day off.

In the afternoon we went out for a walk through Böhmischer Prater.

After that back at home we played some Guild Wars 2 and finally finished Path of Fire (the last big expansion).

In the evening we went onto the couch for the usual tv shows.

Gestern haben wir uns ausgeschlafen - soweit das mit Katzen möglich ist - und einen gemütlichen Tag gemacht.

Am Nachmittag sind wir dann zu einem Spaziergang durch den Böhmischen Prater gegangen.

Nachher haben wir dann zuhause Guild Wars 2 weiter gespielt und endlich Path of Fire (die letzte große Expansion) fertig gespielt.

Am Abend dann ging es wieder auf die Couch zu den üblichen Fernsehserien.

Weekends are welcome

This saturday we stayed home and did the chores. Of course we had to do some weekend shopping at Hofer as well.

We played most of the day Guild Wars 2 and in the evening we went onto the couch to watch tv shows.

Am Samstag sind wir zuhause geblieben und haben uns um den Haushalt gekümmert. Ein kurzer Ausflug zum Hofer für den Wochenendeinkauf war aber schon drinnen.

Dafür haben wir gemeinsam Guild Wars 2 weitergespielt und am Abend ging es dann zu den üblichen Serien auf die Couch.

Frozen baking

Yesterday after work I went back home and was greeted by our two cats. Since the wanted to be entertained we did play with them and afterwards we went to Tyria in Guild Wars 2 before finally we went onto the couch to watch our usual tv shows.

While we watched I also baked a cherry tray bake with frozen cherries from last year.

Gestern nach der Arbeit ging es nach Hause und dort wurde ich schon von den Katzen erwartet. Nachdem wir etwas mit ihnen gespielt haben - es war wieder sehr warm in der Wohnung - haben wir uns dann ein wenig nach Guild Wars 2 begeben bevor es schlussendlich auf die Couch zu den Fernsehserien gegangen ist.

Während wir geschaut haben, habe ich allerdings auch noch einen Kirsch-Blechkuchen (mit eingefrorene Kirschen vom Vorjahr) gebacken.

Running through the hot city (not us, but many other people)

Yesterday there was the Vienna City Marathon in town, but we did not participate at all. Instead we cleaned the flat and then spent most of the day in Guild Wars 2.

For dinner we met with friends who did participate in the marathon and we went to eatalico.

After that we went back home and did what we do almost every day - watching tv shows from the couch.

Gestern war der Vienna City Marathon, wo wir aber weder aktiv noch passiv daran teilgenommen haben. Vielmehr haben wir die Wohnung sauber gemacht und danach sind wir in Guild Wars 2 eingefallen und haben weiter gespielt.

Zum Nachtmahl haben wir uns mit Freunden getroffen, die am Marathon teilgenommen haben, und waren beim eatalico essen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und wie eigentlich jeden Abend ging es dann auf die Couch zu Fernsehserien.

Sunday, more like working day with cat support

This sunday we stayed home and took care of the weekly chores and the cats. In between I copied some stuff from my old PC to my new one.

In the evening we first played some Guild Wars 2 before we went onto the couch for the finale of MasterChef.

Am Sonntag sind wir zuhause geblieben und haben uns um den Haushalt und die Katzen gekümmert. Zwischendurch habe ich dann auch Daten von meinem alten auf den neuen PC übertragen.

Am Abend haben wir zunächst ein bisschen Guild Wars 2 gespielt bevor es dann auf die Couch zum Finale von MasterChef gegangen ist.

Lazy sunday

This sunday we wanted to sleep longer, but our cats were still hungry.

Since we had to stand up, we had a nice and calm day and in the afternoon we played some Guild Wars 2.

In the evening we watched tv shows on the couch with the support of our cats who wanted to have their share of love.

Am Sonntag wollten wir uns ausschlafen, aber die Katzen waren trotzdem hungrig.

Nachdem wir aufgestanden sind, haben wir dann den Tag gemütlich verbracht und am Nachmittag Guild Wars 2 gespielt.

Am Abend gab es dann wieder Fernsehserien auf der Couch mit Katzen die geschnuckelt werden wollten.

Graduating with some hearty food

Yesterday I took the day off, since my dear was graduating. So I used the spare time in the morning to do some chores and at noon the ceremony was beginning.

After that we went to a nearby restaurant for late lunch/early dinner, where we got some hearty austrian food with approriate dimensions as well.

In the evening my dear was invited by friends and so I stayed home with the cats to entertain them and did the rest of the chores. In between I listened to podcasts and also started this year's Halloween festivals in Guild Wars 2.

Gestern habe ich mir den Tag freigenommen, denn mein Schatz hatte Sponsion. Also habe ich den Vormittag dau genutzt zuhause die Hausarbeit zu erledigen und zu Mittag ist es dann losgegangen.

Nach der Zeremonie sind wir zu einem nahe gelegenen Gasthaus essen gegangen, wo es gute österreichische Hausmannskost in entsprechend großen Portionen gegeben hat.

Am Abend war mein Schatz dann bei Freunden eingeladen und ich habe die Katzen zuhause bespasst und die restliche Hausarbeit erledigt. Dazwischen habe ich noch fleissig Podcasts gehört und mit dem diesjährigen Halloween Event bei Guild Wars 2 begonnen.

Watching shows is hard work

Yesterday was a quite evening, which I spent entertaining the cats and playing the latest episode of Guild Wars 2.

Once my dear was back we then went onto the couch and started watching tv series from our rather large backlog.

Gestern war ein eher ruhiger Abend, den ich mit den Katzen und den neuen Episode von Guild Wars 2 verbracht hatte.

Nachdem mein Schatz dann auch nach Hause gekommen war, sind wir relativ bald auf die Couch gegangen und haben unser Serien-Backlog angefangen abzuarbeiten.

Sleepy, happy cats

Yesterday after work I went to my parents for dinner and got some tasty pancakes.

After that I went home and first did some chores and then entertained the cats. Only after that I started playing the latest episode of Guild Wars 2 and boy this story is great!!

Later my dear came home from zombie beating and since it was already quite late we just went to bed instead of watching stuff on the couch.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit wieder bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen und ich habe gute Palatschinken bekommen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und dann wurde Hausarbeit erledigt. Dann noch mit den Katzen ordentlich gespielt und schlussendlich habe ich mich dann zur neuesten Episode in Guild Wars 2 gesetzt und die Story ist einfach sehr cool!!

Später dann ist mein Schatz vom Zombies verdreschen nach Hause gekommen, dann war es aber zu spät um noch etwas zu schauen und so sind wir ins Bett gefallen.

Work, work, work

Yesterday I stayed longer at work than usual and after I went home and back from some quick grocery shopping, I continued working from home.

Later I quickly logged through Guild Wars 2 and then it was time for some BBC tv series on the couch.

Gestern war ich wieder länger als geplant in der Arbeit und nachdem ich nach Hause gekommen bin und schnell noch einkaufen war, habe ich dann von zuhause aus weiter gearbeitet.

Später dann habe ich mich noch schnell durch Guild Wars 2 durchgeloggt und dann ging es zu BBC Serien auf die Couch.

Spontaneous bakes on sunday

This sunday we tried to sleep longer, but our cats were against that and so we stood up rather like during the week.

I decided to bake us some scones for breakfast, since I was up anyway.

Before noon I tried the solo variant of Terraforming Mars and this is not easy to win. I didn't make it in the given time of 14 generartions (rounds) to terraform the whole planet and will try to beat the game again at a later time.

In the afternoon we did sleep a bit and the cat approved of that.

Later I played again Guild Wars 2 Super Adventure Box and later still in the evening we went onto the couch to watch tv series.

Am Sonntag haben wir versucht uns auszuschlafen, nur die Katzen waren damit nicht so wirklich einverstanden und so sind wir relativ normal aufgestanden.

Daraufhin habe ich dann spontan Scones gebacken, damit wir etwas ordentliches zum Frühstück haben.

Am späteren Vormittag habe ich dann eine Solo-Partie Terraforming Mars gespielt und das ist echt nicht leicht. Ich habe es nicht geschafft in der vorgegebenen Zeit von 14 Generationen (= Runden) den Mars genug zu terraformieren und werde es wohl bald ein weiteres Mal probieren.

Am Nachmittag haben wir uns dann wieder hingelegt und wurden diesmal von den Katzen dabei unterstützt.

Später habe ich dann wieder weiter in Guild Wars 2 Super Adventure Box gespielt und noch später ging es dann zu Serien auf die Couch.

Super Adventure Friday

This friday it was business as usual: shopping in Mariahilf. Although it was just the same tour, I found some new stuff at Planet Harry.

Then I went to Temaya for some sushi to take back home. Arriving there I was pushed to share - and since our pussy cat only gets her pill and hasn't changesd her diat yet, she also got her usual portion.

In the evening I played through the new Guild Wars 2 Super Adventure Box update as good as I could.

Am Freitag bin ich wieder den üblichen Beschäftigungen nach der Arbeit nachgegangen: einkaufen in Mariahilf. Auch wenn es diesmal nur eine kleine Tour zum Planet Harry war, gefunden habe ich mir schon wieder ein paar Kleinigkeiten.

Danach ging es dann zum Temaya wo wieder Sushi eingekauft wurden. Zuhause dann wurden sie auch gleich aufgeteilt - nachdem die Maus nur Tabletten bekommt aber noch normal fressen darf, hat sie wieder eine Portion bekommen.

Am Abend dann habe ich mich durch Guild Wars 2 und das aktuelle Super Adventure Box Update gekämpft.

More books!

Yesterday after work I went out again to sell a boardgame we no longer play, but it was not as easy as it sound, especially when the meeting place was not uniquely specified. In the end all went well and afterwards I went to Planet Harry for restock of board games. Well not quite, as there was a sale of Warhammer roleplaying books and our japanes lord wanted some of those book. So I arrived with a list of books and left the store with two bags full of those books again.

Back home I entertained the cats and then played some Guild Wars 2, where there's a quest chain at the moment which grants you an ascended weapon in the end which is quite cool. I think my dear and I will soon be fighting our way through Tyria again.

After that we went onto the couch for one episode of BBC before I went to bed rather exhausted from the events of the last few days.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit noch privat ein Brettspiel verkaufen, was sich als nicht so ganz einfach herausgestellt hat, da der Treffpunkt - sagen wir es einmal freundlich - nicht optimal gewählt war. Es ging trotzdem alles gut und dann bin ich auch noch zum Planet Harry gefahren um wieder Nachschub zu kaufen. Spaß ohne, es gab diese Woche eine Aktion bei Warhammer Rollenspiel Büchern und unser japanische Lord wollte etliches davon haben, also bin ich mit Liste an- und mit viele Büchern wieder abgerückt.

Zuhause dann habe ich mich um die Katzen gekümmert und dann ein bisschen Guild Wars 2 gespielt, wo es zur Zeit eine Questreihe gibt, bei der man relativ günstig Ascended Waffen bekommen kann. Ich glaube ich werde demnächst mit meinem Schatz mehr durch Tyria ziehen müssen.

Danach ging es dann noch für eine Folge einer BBC Serie auf die Couch bevor ich erschöpft und ausgebrannt von den Ereignissen der letzten Tage ins Bett gegangen bin.

Not quite the same friday routine

This friday after work I went home and out again to go shopping in Mariahilf. First up was Planet Harry and afterwards I visited my dear at the hospital, where she had a small operation.

On my way home I stopped at Temaya to buy some sushi for the cats and myself.

Afterwards I played some Guild Wars 2 before I went to bed rather early.

Am Freitag ging es nach der Arbeit nach Hause und dann gleich wieder weg nach Mariahilf. Zunächst wurde der Planet Harry überfallen und danach habe ich meinen Schatz im Krankenhaus besucht, da sie eine kleine Operation machen ließ.

Auf dem Heimweg bin ich dann noch beim Temaya vorbeigegangen und habe den Katzen und mir noch Sushi eingekauft.

Nach ein wenig Guild Wars 2 spielen, bin ich dann relativ früh ins Bett gegangen.

Baking chores

Yesterday was a pretty routine day: entertaining the cats, doing chores and then I also baked something, vanilla-blueberry-cookies.

In the evening I played the new update of Guild Wars 2 for a bit.

Gestern war ein Routine Tag zuhause: Katzen bespassen, Hausarbeit machen und dann habe ich auch noch gebacken, nämlich Vanille-Blaubeer-Cookies.

Als Abendunterhaltung habe ich mir dann das neue Update von Guild Wars 2 angesehen und angespielt.

Guild Wars 2 update delayed

Yesterday after work I was at my parents and got a nice tasty dinner, which took the form of curd cheese strudel with vanilla sauce.

Afterwards I went home and out again to the post office. Then I stayed home and we waited for the update of Guild Wars 2. But a blizzard in the Seattle area made sure the update wasn't coming out, so we then went onto the couch for tv series.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern und habe ein gutes Abendessen in Form von Topfenstrudel mit Vanillesauce bekommen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und gleich wieder weg zur Post. Dann bin ich allerdings zuhause geblieben und wir haben auf das Update von Guild Wars 2 gewartet. Leider hat ein Schneesturm in Seattle dafür gesorgt, dass daraus nichts wurde und so sind wir dann zu Serien auf die Couch gewechselt.

Shopping and baking

Yesterday after coming home we went straight out again to do some grocery shopping and then I baked something for my dear, since she has guests today.

While the cake was in the oven, I did my dailies in Guild Wars 2 and then it was time for the couch and BBC tv series.

Gestern ging es nach dem Nachhausekommen gleich wieder zum Einkaufen und dann wurde gebacken, nachdem mein Schatz heute Besuch hat.

Während die Torte im Ofen war, habe ich dann noch schnell die Dailies in Guild Wars 2 gemacht und dann ging es zu den BBC Serien auf die Couch.

No workshop today (or tomorrow)

Yesterday there was no workshop because the trainer was ill, so I went to work as normal and was able to leave at my regular time as well. I then went to my parents and got a tasty apple pancake.

Afterwards I went home and did some chores, interrupted by Guild Wars 2 since the new festival has started.

Gestern ist der Workshop entfallen, so bin ich dann normal in die Firma arbeiten gegangen und konnte auch wieder zu normalen Zeiten gehen. Es ging zu meinen Eltern, wo ich eine gute Apfelpalatschinke bekommen habe.

Danach ging es nach Hause und dann stand Hausarbeit am Programm, kurz unterbrochen von Guild Wars 2 Sessions, weil das neue Festival am Dienstag gestartet hatte.

Short evening

Yesterdaxy evening after work we were entertaining the cats, played some Guild Wars 2 and finally went onto the couch for MasterChef: The Professionals.

Gestern waren wir nach der Arbeit recht faul und haben uns nur mit den Katzen beschäftigt, kurz Guild Wars 2 gespielt und sind dann zu MasterChef: The Professionals auf die Couch gefallen.
