Sick sunday

The sunday started exactely like the saturday ended, with stomach ache. Only during the following afternoon it got better and finally in the evening I could eat somehting again.

Evening entertainment was one episode each of Back in Time for the Weekend and the new season of The X-Files.

Der Sonntag hat begonnen wie der Samstag geendet hat, mit Bauchweh. Erst im Laufe des Nachmittags wurde es dann besser und am Abend haben ich dann wieder etwas essen können.

Als Abendunterhaltung haben wir uns die letzte Folge von Back in Time for the Weekend und die erste Folge der neuen Staffel von X-Files angeschaut.

Finally back in the 80s

Yesterday after work I was back home just to go out again to the post office. When I came back I entertained the cats and then heated up the prepared dinner for us.

The rest of the evening I played some Guild Wars 2 and did some programming for online projects.

Later it was couch time and we watched the current episode each of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Back in Time for the Weekend (80s episode) angeschaut.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit kurz zuhause um dann noch schnell zur Post zu gehen. Abermals zuhause habe ich dann die Katzen bespasst und das vorbereitete Abendessen aufgewärmt.

Der Rest des Abends war geprägt von Guild Wars 2 und ein paar Programmierarbeiten für Online Projekte.

Später dann war es Couchzeit und wir haben uns jeweils die aktuelle Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Back in Time for the Weekend (80er Jahre) angeschaut.

Back in time for the evening

Yesterday I was at my parents' for dinner and I got tasty pancakes.

After that I went home and that to the post office, where I had to wait 30 minutes to just send one letter.

Back home I entertained the cats for a bit and then logged through Guild Wars 2.

Later that evening it was time for the couch and some episodes of Once Upon a Time and Back in Time for the Weekend.

Gestern war ich bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen und es gab wieder köstliche Palatschinken.

Danach ging es nach Hause und dann zur Post, wo ich 30 Minuten warten konnte, bis ich einen Brief aufgeben konnte.

Wieder zuhause habe ich die Katzen ein wenig bespasst und mich dann durch Guild Wars 2 geloggt.

Am späteren Abend dann war es Zeit für die Couch und neue Folgen von Once Upon a Time und Back in Time for the Weekend.

Sunday activities

On sunday we went to a (for us) new brunch location, the Oben (up).

Food was good, but the whole thing looked more like a breakfast buffet.

Some time later though smaller dishes with cooked food was brought out, so lunch was also covered. Two things we didn't like about the brunch though. First the location is very small and crowded with people - especially near the actual buffet - so you have to squeeze through all the time. And as a result of that it was very noisy as well later on.

After that we went home and did our chores.

Later that afternoon my dear and I went creative - she finished sewing her laptop bag and I started to write again. Unfortunately there's nothing finished to show right now, but I'm getting there.

In the evening we went to play with friends in Guild Wars 2 before it was couch time with BBC series. We watched one episode each of Back in Time for the Weekend (60s) and Junior Bake Off.

Am Sonntag haben wir einen (für uns) neuen Brunch ausprobiert im Oben.

Das Essen war sehr gut, auch wenn es mehr nach einem Frühstücksbuffet ausgesehen hat.

Etwas später dann wurden aber kleine Hauptspeisen ausgeteilt und damit war auch das Mittagessen abgedeckt. Zwei Kritikpunkte hatten wir schon und zwar der Platz war relativ klein, sodass man sich immer wieder an anderen Gästen - speziell beim Buffet - vorbei drängen musste. Und daraus resultierend auch die Lärmentwicklung mit zunehmender Stunde sehr störend geworden ist.

Danach ging es dann wieder nach Hause und dort war Hausarbeit angesagt.

Später am Nachmittag dann wurden mein Schatz und ich wieder kreativ - sie hat weiter an ihrer Notebook-Tasche genäht und ich habe endlich wieder Zeit zum Schreiben gefunden. Ein veröffentlichbares Ergebnis meinerseits gibt es dazu aber noch nicht.

Am Abend waren wir dann mit Freunden noch in Guild Wars 2 unterwegs bevor es dann auf die Couch zu BBC Serien ging. Angeschaut haben wir uns Back in Time for the Weekend (60er Jahre) und Junior Bake Off.

Early weekly shopping again

Yesterday after work I went on my weekly shopping trip to Mariahilferstrasse, since we are invited to the birthday dinner of a friend tonight.

First stop was Planet Harry and there I got the gift for this saturday's boardgame afternoon. In addition I also got a rather sweet bluRay deal: The Martian, Mad Max Fury Road and season 1 of The Flash. So there will be some great movie nights soon at home.

After that it was time to grab some food for dinner - not week should go by without the weekly cat sushi! So this time I went again to Temaya and they also have take-away.

Well packed I went home, where the cats already waited for me (and the food to be honest). But we all waited until my dear came back home and then it was time for dinner.

Afterwards, as the evening entertainment, we watched the last episode of season 2 of Agent Carter, the last episode of season 3 of James May's Cars of the People and the very first episode of Back in Time for the Weekend.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit auf dem Shopping Trip auf der Mariahilferstrasse, nachdem wir heute Abend von einer Freundin zu ihrem Geburtstagsabendessen eingeladen sind.

Zunächst war ich beim Planet Harry und habe die Mitbringsel für den Spielenachmittag am Samstag erstanden. Dabei habe ich auch gleich drei Schnäppchen beim bluRay Abverkauf gemacht: The Martian, Mad Max Fury Road und Season 1 von The Flash. Also demnächst großes Kino zuhause.

Danach ging es daran das Abendessen zu besorgen - denn keine Woche ohne Sushi für die Katzen! Ich bin also wieder zum Temaya gegangen und sie haben das Essen auch zum Mitnehmen.

Gut bepackt ging es nach Hause, wo die Katzen schon gewartet haben. Wir haben dann alle gemeinsam - mehr oder weniger geduldig - auf meinen Schatz gewartet und als wir dann komplett waren gab es Abendessen.

Danach, als Abendunterhaltung, standen die letzte Folge der zweiten Staffel von Agent Carter, die letzte Folge der dritten Staffel von James May's Cars of the People und die erste Folge von Back in Time for the Weekend auf dem Programm.
