Some baking off

Yesterday after work we entertained the cats at home and then we went to the Halloween festival in Guild Wars 2. We collected quite the loot - although nothing fancy - and after that I went baking a lime and coconut meringue pie from The Great British Bake Off.

The evening entertainment consisted of the most recent episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Timeless.

Gestern nach der Arbeit wurden zuhause die Katzen bespasst und dann ging es zum Halloween Festival nach Guild Wars 2. Nachdem wir viel Loot gemacht hatten - leider nicht Spezielles dabei gewesen - hab ich dann noch gebacken und zwar einen Lime and coconut meringue pie von The Great British Bake Off.

Als Abendunterhaltung haben wir uns dann noch die aktuellen Folgen von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Timeless angeschaut.

The weekly routine is back

Yesterday after work I was at my parents' for dinner and got a tasty Kaiserschmarrn.

Afterwards I went home to entertain the cats after that I played some LEGO Dimensions.

The evening concluded with the most recent episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Timeless and Supergirl.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit wieder bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen und es gab köstlichen Kaiserschmarrn.

Danach ging es nach Haus zum Katzen-Bespassen und etwas LEGO Dimensions spielen.

Den Abend haben wir dann auf der Couch mit den aktuellen Folgen von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Timeless und Supergirl beschlossen.

Artful pancakes

Yesterday after work I went to my parents for dinner and I got tasty pancakes.

Afterwards I went home and after a long playing session with the cats it was couch time with the most recent episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the pilot of Westworld.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen und es gab wieder köstliche Palatschinken.

Danach ging es nach Hause und nach einer ausführlichen Spielsession mit den Katzen auf die Couch zur aktuellen Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und der Pilotfolge der neuen Serie Westworld.

Seasons are starting again

Yesterday my dear made me an early birthday present: the Doctor Who level pack for LEGO Dimensions. I started playing it a bit, but I guess we both will be playing the whole thing rather soon.

After that it was early couch time, where we at first watched the current episode of The Great British Bake Off, followed by the season starter episodes of Scream Queens, Lucifer and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Gestern habe ich von meinem Schatz ein Vor-Geburtstagsgeschenk bekommen: das Doctor Who Level Pack für LEGO Dimensions. Ich hab es dann nur kurz angespielt, aber ich denke das wird schon bald zum Einsatz kommen.

Danach ging es vorzeitig auf die Couch, wo wir uns zunächst die aktuelle Folge von The Great British Bake Off angeschaut haben, gefolgt von den Folgen zum neuen Staffelanfang von Scream Queens, Lucifer und Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Friday's around Vienna

This friday I was on my weekly shopping tour at Mariahilf. First I needed to restock at myMuesli. After that I went to Planet Harry, but the only thing I bought there was a new Splittermond roleplaying book.

Then I went to Temaya for some take away dinner.

Back home I fed the cats, before we were also allowed to eat our fish.

In the evening we watched two episodes each of Arrow and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before we went to bed.

Am Freitag war wieder die wöchentliche Einkaufstour in Mariahilf angesagt. Zunächst ging es zu myMuesli wo wieder Nachschub gekauft wurde. Danach war der Planet Harry an der Reihe, wo es außer einem neuen Splittermond Rollenspielbuch nicht viel Neues zu kaufen gab.

Dann bin ich Richtung Temaya aufgebrochen und habe unser Abendessen besorgt.

Wieder zuhause wurden zuerst die Katzen versorgt und dann haben auch wir den Fisch essen dürfen.

Am Abend standen dann jeweils zwei Folgen von Arrow und Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. am Programm bevor es ins Bett ging.

Move your body and the mind follows

Yesterday after dinner we went out for a walk/run before the weather takes a change to wet and cold for the next few days and this kind of activity will become rather unattractive then.

After that we had a short session of Guild Wars 2 and a longer one while entertaining the cats before we went onto the couch for the latest episodes of The Flash, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Castle. Next week the season finales will start and after that it time for canned goods again.

The local milk scandal at work has not turned out anything positive yet - which seems natural given that there's no milk left now, until I buy a new one today - but I am considering to install a new security system which just needs some small adjustments before it can go live...

Gestern waren wir nach dem Abendessen noch schnell eine Runde spazieren/laufen bevor das Wetter der kommenden Tage durch den drohenden Regen diese Aktivität etwas unattraktiver machen wird.

Danach gab es eine kurze Session Guild Wars 2 und eine länger Session Bespassung für die Katzen bevor es dann auf die Couch ging. Angeschaut haben wir uns diesmal die aktuellen Folgen von The Flash, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Castle. Nächste Woche beginnen dann die Staffelfinale und dann sind wir wieder auf Konserven angewiesen.

Von der Milchfront in der Firma gibt es natürlich nichts Neues zu berichten - wie auch meine Milch ist aus und ich bringe erst heute wieder eine neue mit - aber ich denke daran ein neues Sicherheitssystem zu installieren, das muss allerdings erst entsprechend justiert werden...

Busy saturday

Yesterday we were invited for lunch by my family. Although everyone ate asparagus, I decided to go for chop of meat.

After that I had to do some IT support for my father and a friend in Klosterneuburg, before we went home again.

When coming home our cats were still rather sleepy, as they were sleeping in the warm sun all day.

In the evening we went on an adventure with friends in Guild Wars 2 and after that we watched the latest episodes of The Flash and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. each on the couch.

Gestern waren wir zu Mittag zum Essen mit meiner Familie eingeladen gewesen. Obwohl alle Spargel gegessen hatten, habe ich mich doch für ein Kotelett entschieden.

Danach ging es noch zum IT Service bei meinem Vater und einer Freundin in Klosterneuburg, bevor wir uns wieder auf dem Heimweg gemacht haben.

Dort haben uns dann schon verschlafene Katzen erwartet, die vermutlich den ganzen Tag in der Sonne gelegen sind.

Am Abend war dann eine Ausflug mit Freunden in Guild Wars 2 geplant und dann sind wir nur mehr zu je einer Episode The Flash und Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. auf die Couch gefallen.

Not going out

Yesterday we wanted to go out to a live-audiobook recording, but since the weather was quite bad and we were very exhaused, we decided to stay home instead.

At first we played some Guild Wars 2 and then it was time for the couch and the most recent episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Flash.

Gestern wollten wir eigentlich am Abend noch zu einem Live-Hörspiel gehen, aber nachdem das Wetter extrem unwirtlich und wir sehr erschöpft waren, sind wir dann doch zuhause geblieben.

Zunächst gab es eine kurze Session Guild Wars 2 und dann war Couch angesagt mit den aktuellen Episoden von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und The Flash.

Busy saturday

This saturday we tried to sleep longer, but our cats were not that patient and so we had to get up and feed them. While we were up we then decided to take our breakfast as well.

After that it was chores and grocery shopping, before we took it easy in the late afternoon.

We played some Guild Wars 2 and later in the evening we watch tv series again - the current episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and some older Horrible Histories.

Am Samstag haben wir zunächst ein wenig länger schlafen dürfen, bevor die Katzen ihr Frühstück haben wollten. Also sind wir dann aufgestanden und haben auch unser Frühstück zu uns genommen.

Danach war dann Hausarbeit und Einkaufen angesagt und einigermassen erschöpft haben wir dann den restlichen Nachmittag ruhig angegangen.

Mit Guild Wars 2 sind wir dann etwas weiter gekommen und haben dann am Abend weiter Serien geschaut - aktuell Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und ein paar Horrible Histories.

Backbag recovered

Yesterday the incident from the day before found a quite good end. The stolen backbag - excluding the valuables and the money - was found and returned to my dear. At least we don't have the trouble now to get all those cards anew from various sources.

In the evening we played a bit SAB in Guild Wars 2 and then watched one episode each of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Castle on the couch.

Gestern ist der Vorfall vom Vortag beim meinem Schatz dann noch einigermassen gut ausgegangen. Der gestohlene Rucksack - exklusive der Wertgegenstände und Geld - wurde wieder gefunden und sie konnte sich ihn abholen. Zumindest die Rennereien mit den diversen Karten können wir uns jetzt ersparen.

Am Abend haben wir dann zunächst ein bisschen SAB in Guild Wars 2 gemacht und sind dann zu jeweils einer Folge Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Castle auf die Couch gefallen.

Saturday - a day for chores

The saturday we started quite slowly, after we sletp quite long. After that we went grocery shopping and after lunch we did the chores. This time we also cleaned our desks and computer equipment and I have to say it looks quite nice again.

In the later afternoon we played some Guild Wars 2 - mostly SAB (Super Adventure Box) - and achieved quite a lot.

In the evening it was time for the tv series and we watched the conclusion of season three of Sleepy Hollow and the most recent episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. In between I also baked an avocado lemon cheese cake, which we will be tasting today.

Den Samstag haben wir einmal ruhig angegangen und haben uns ausgeschlafen. Danach ging es ans Einkaufen und nach dem Mittagessen an die Hausarbeit. Diesmal haben wir auch unsere Schreibtische und Computerzubehör geputzt, sodass es jetzt wirklich wieder recht ordentlich aussieht.

Am späteren Nachmittag haben wir dann Guild Wars 2 - hier konkret die SAB (Super Adventure Box) - gespielt und ziemlich viel geschafft.

Am Abend dann gab es wieder Serien und zwar das Ende der dritten Staffel von Sleepy Hollow und die aktuelle Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Zwischendurch habe ich dann auch noch einen Avocado Lemon Cheesecake gemacht, den wir allerdings erst heute kosten werden.

Exhausting wednesday

Yesterday, after a long day at work, I was greeted by the cats when I came home and they wanted their food. After that was done, we had dinner and played some Guild Wars 2.

Later, after some play time with the cats, it was time for the couch and some recent episodes of The Flash, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and MasterChef UK.

Gestern ging es nach einem längeren Arbeitstag nach Hause und diesmal wurde ich schon von den Katzen begrüßt und um Futter angebettelt. Nachdem das erledigt war, gab es dann Nachtmahl und währenddessen haben wir uns ein wenig in Guild Wars 2 herumgetrieben.

Später dann, nach dem Bespassen der Katzen, ging es auf die Couch zu neuen Folgen von The Flash, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und MasterChef UK.

At the vet part two - the wetting princess

Yesterday after work it was the pussy-cat's turn to go to the vet. Like the times before she was not very pleased to go and this time she wet herself (and me) quite a lot. So much in fact that I had to clean the floor and change my clothes before we finally went off.

At the vet herself everything was fine and madame is in perfect health. When we were back Bubu already waited for us and was very astonished when he smelled her. So she spent the rest of the day cleaning herself and relaxing from the terrible encounter.

In the evening we just watched some series, namely the most recent episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Flash and MasterChef UK before it was bed time.

Gestern war nach der Arbeit war die Mieze-Katze dran zur Tante Tierarzt zu gehen. Wie schon die letzten Male auch, war sie dabei ziemlich panisch und hat sich (und mich) diesmal von oben bis unten angepinkelt, sodass ich den Gang aufwischen und meine Kleidung wechseln musste, bevor es dann wirklich los ging.

Bei der Tierärztin selber war dann alles aber kein Problem mehr und auch gesundheitlich war die Mieze ok. Als wir dann wieder nach Hause gekommen sind, hat der Bubu schon auf sie gewartet und sich gewundert warum sie so streng riecht. Den restlichen Abend hat sie dann mit putzen und erholen verbracht.

Wir haben dann am Abend nur mehr Serien geschaut und zwar die aktuellen Folgen von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Flash und MasterChef UK, bevor es ins Bett ging.

Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster - a must-see!

Yesterday after work I went to the post office and when I came back home I entertained the cats. After that I did my daily routine of logging through Guild Wars 2.

The evening entertainment was one episode each of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle and The X-Files. The X-Files episode with the were-monster was one of the best episodes ever!

Gestern nach der Arbeit war ich schnell bei der Post und dann habe ich mich zuhause um die Katzen gekümmert. Danach war wieder das tägliche Durchloggen bei Guild Wars 2 angesagt.

Als Abendunterhaltung haben wir und dann jeweils eine Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle und X-Files angeschaut. Wobei die X-Files Episode mit dem Were-Monster zu den besten Folge überhaupt zählt!

Finally back in the 80s

Yesterday after work I was back home just to go out again to the post office. When I came back I entertained the cats and then heated up the prepared dinner for us.

The rest of the evening I played some Guild Wars 2 and did some programming for online projects.

Later it was couch time and we watched the current episode each of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Back in Time for the Weekend (80s episode) angeschaut.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit kurz zuhause um dann noch schnell zur Post zu gehen. Abermals zuhause habe ich dann die Katzen bespasst und das vorbereitete Abendessen aufgewärmt.

Der Rest des Abends war geprägt von Guild Wars 2 und ein paar Programmierarbeiten für Online Projekte.

Später dann war es Couchzeit und wir haben uns jeweils die aktuelle Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Back in Time for the Weekend (80er Jahre) angeschaut.

Happy anniversary!

Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary by going out.

First we went to Die Burgermacher for a quite good ... well .. burger.

After that we went through the inner city to the Hard Rock Cafe for cocktails and a brownie.

In the end I also sat down on the famous chair/throne, to get my picture taken.

When we came home it was quite late already so we just watched the mid season finale of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., took a quick look inside Guild Wars 2 before we went to bed.

Gestern haben wir unseren Jahrestag auswärts gefeiert.

Zunächst ging es zu den neu renovierten Burgermachern wo wir uns einen guten Burger genehmigt haben.

Danach sind wir durch die Innenstadt zum Hard Rock Cafe auf Cocktail und Brownie gegangen.

Zum Abschluss habe ich dann auch auf dem bekannten Stuhl posiert, um ein Erinnerungsfoto zu haben.

Als wir dann nach Hause gekommen sind, war es schon relativ spät, sodass wir uns nur die Mid-Season-Final-Folge von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. angeschaut haben, bevor es nach einem kleinen Ausflug nach Guild Wars 2 ins Bett ging.

Boardgames during the week

Yesterday at work we had our traditional christmas market in the parking lot, including some punsch. After spending some time there, I went home.

After dinner we sat together with our japanese guest and we played some boardgames. We played The Hare & the Tortoise twice and einmal Machi Koro once. He seemed to have liked it and I think we will continue playing some games with him.

Later it was time for tv series and we watched two episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before we went to bed dead tired.

Gestern gab es bei uns in der Firma wieder das traditionelle Punschtrinken am Parkplatz. Danach bin ich dann nach Hause gefahren.

Nach dem Nachtmahl haben wir uns dann mit unserem japanischen Gast zu Brettspielen gesetzt. Dabei wurde zweimal The Hare & the Tortoise und einmal Machi Koro gespielt. Es scheint ihm beides gut gefallen zu haben.

Danach ging es auf die Couch zu zwei Folgen Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. bevor wir müde ins Bett gefallen sind.

Staying at home

Since I managed to pick up another cold, we stayed home this sunday. In the morning we helped our japanese guest with his homework and language lessons.

In the afternoon he went to Prater with friends, while we stayed home and played Guild Wars 2 - the guild hall is still not in sight though.

In the evening it was time for the tv series of the week: Heroes Reborn, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle and Sleepy Hollow were watched before we went to bed.

Nachdem ich mir einen Schnupfen geholt hatte, sind wir am Sonntag zuhause geblieben. Am Vormittag haben wir unserem japanischen Gast mit seinen schulischen Aktivitäten und Sprachkursen geholfen.

Am Nachmittag ist er dann mit Freunden im Prater unterwegs gewesen und wir haben uns inzwischen in Guild Wars 2 vergnügt - die Gildenhalle gibt es aber leider immer noch nicht.

Am Abend dann standen die Serien auf dem Programm: Heroes Reborn, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle und Sleepy Hollow wurden angeschaut bevor es ins Bett ging.

Tv series galore

Yesterday I had the tires changed for winter and after that I went to my parents for dinner. It was the very tasty Gundel pancakes.

After that I went home and after some chores we all went onto the couch.

Gestern war ich Wintereifen wechseln (lassen) und danach bin ich zu meinen Eltern zum Abendessen gefahren. Es gab köstlich Gundel-Palatschinken.

Danach ging es nach Hause wo wir ein bisschen etwas im Haushalt gemacht haben, bevor wir dann mit unserem Gast auf die Couch gefallen sind.
