Baking bread (again)

Yesterday after work I did the chores at home with my dear. While doing that I also baked another soda bread according to Paul Hollywood's recipe and it went well again.

In the evening I looked into the bounty system of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and I hope that soon I will get some decent endgame loot.

The evening we spent watching the current episode of Celebrity MasterChef before it was entertainment time for the cats just before we went to bed.

Gestern nach der Arbeit habe ich mich zusammen mit meinem Schatz um den Haushalt gekümmert. Im Zuge dessen habe ich dann auch wieder ein Soda Bread nach Paul Hollywood gebacken und es ist wieder gelungen.

Am Abend habe ich mich dann intensiver mit dem Bounty System von Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls beschäftigt und hoffe jetzt in Kürze guten Endgame Loot zu finden.

Den Abend beschlossen haben wir dann mit der aktuellen Folge von Celebrity MasterChef bevor wir die Katzen bespasst haben und danach ins Bett gefallen sind.

Birthday party

Yesterday was my mother in law's birthday, so we went for a family lunch at Klaghofer. The meal was - as always - great and we didn't have to eat any dinner that day.

In the afternoon we played the Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls and in between we bake yet another cake: a cherry-spit-cake (which is a cherry cake where the cheeries still have their stones).

In the evening we watched the second to last lecture of Forensic Science before we were off to bed.

Gestern war der Geburtstag meine Schwiegermutter und so waren wir alle gemeinsam zu einem Mittagessen eingeladen. Dieses haben wir beim Klaghofer zu uns genommen und es war wie immer sehr köstlich.

Am Nachmittag haben wir dann die Diablo 3 Expansion Reaper of Souls gespielt und dazwischen gleich den nächsten Kuchen gebacken: Kirsch-Spucke-Kuchen (also ein Kirschkuchen mit unentkernten Kirschen).

Am Abend dann waren wir noch mit den vorletzten Lektion von Forensic Science beschäftigt, bevor es ins Bett ging.

Relax and bake

Yesterday we were allowed to sleep longer. After a good breakfast we went to the farmer's market to buy loads of fruit.

Fully packed we returned home and played Diablo 3 in the afternoon. Later we started to bake a red currant cake - a wish from my dear - and after it was finished we of course had to taste it.

In the evening it was BBC time again: Celebrity MasterChef and Mock The Week.

Gestern haben wir uns einmal länger ausgeschlafen bevor wir nach einem guten Frühstück zum Markt einkaufen gegangen sind.

Voll bepackt mit Obst sind wir wieder nach Hause gekommen und haben den Nachmittag mit Diablo 3 verbracht. Am Nachmittag habe wir dann einen Ribiselkuchen - eine Auftragsarbeit von meinem Schatz - gebacken und auch gleich verkostet.

Am Abend war dann wieder BBC dran, mit Celebrity MasterChef und Mock The Week.

Grilling

Yesterday after work I went for a quick shopping stop at the local farmer's market to buy some meat and sausages for the grilling event in the afternoon.

Back home we just packed our stuff and went to Alte Donau where the grilling took place.

We came home rather later and the cats were eager to be fed and entertained - both those needs have been satisfied before we went to bed.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit noch schnell am Markt um Fleisch und Würstel für das abendliche Grillen zu besorgen.

Zuhause angekommen haben wir uns dann zusammengepackt und sind Richtung Alte Donau gefahren, wo das Grillen stattgefunden hat.

Relativ spät am Abend sind wir dann nach Hause gekommen und die Katzen haben uns schon erwartet. Also Spielsession und Futter und dann ging es ins Bett.

Happy Birthday Planet Harry!

Yesterday after work I was again only a short time at home - although the pussy cat didn't let me go a first - but Planet Harry had his 13th birthday and there were a lot of great bargains, so I had to go.

On our way back home we had a quick icecream stop at Tichy before we brought our loot from the sale home.

Back home we then watched the last two episodes of the first season of Elementary before it was time for bed as well.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit wieder nur kurz zuhause - obwohl mich die Mieze Katze nicht gehen lassen wollte - aber Planet Harry hat seinen 13. Geburtstag gefeiert und da gab es viele tolle Angebote, die ich mir nicht entgehen lassen konnte.

Auf dem Heimweg sind wir dann noch beim Tichy auf ein schnelles Eis eingekehrt, bevor es mit der Beute nach Hause ging.

Zuhause dann haben wir nur mehr die letzten beiden Episoden von der ersten Staffel von Elementary geschaut, bevor es ins Bett ging.

FullSet

Yesterday after work I was home shortly before we went out for our evening entertainment: FullSet (it was the act for the 17th Celtic Summer Festival of Metropol) and they were great. The following pictures are not very good, but it was dark in the room after all.

After that we went home and entertained and fed the cats before we went to bed.

Gestern nach der Arbeit war ich kurz zuhause und dann sind wir schon zum Abendprogramm aufgebrochen: FullSet (im Zuge des 17ten Celtic Summer Festivals des Metropols) stand am Programm und es war sehr toll. Die nachfolgenden Bilder sind nicht so gut, aber es war ja auch dunkel im Raum.

Danach sind wir dann wieder nach Hause gefahren und haben uns nur mehr um die Katzen gekümmert, bevor wir ins Bett gefallen sind.

Bread and War

Yesterday my dear was away with friends, so I tried to bake something. Since it worked out fine, I later admitted that I did in fact bake a bread. It was my first attempt at a soda bread by Paul Hollywood and we did a tasting of it and found it to be really good.

In the evening I played parts of the new content for Guild Wars 2 and later, when my dear was back, we watched an episode of Elementary.

Gestern ist mein Schatz am Abend aus gewesen, also habe ich etwas Gebacken. Und nachdem es mir gelungen ist, habe ich es nachher auch zugegeben. Es war der erste Versuch ein Soda Bread nach Paul Hollywood zu backen und es wurde bereits verkostet und für gut befunden.

Am Abend habe ich dann mit dem neuen Content von Guild Wars 2 gespielt und später, als mein Schatz wieder zurück war, dann haben wir uns noch eine Episode Elementary angeschaut.

No better time to sleep

Yesterday after work I was at my parents' for dinner and I got some tasty pancakes. Unfortunately the batteries of my phone were emtpy so I couldn't take a picture this time.

After I came home I went for a quick shopping trip. The rest of the evening we firstly spent on playing some more Diablo 3 and then it was couch time with the most recent episodes of Defiance and Edwardian Farm.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen und es gab köstliche Palatschinken. Leider war der Akku von meinem Handy leer, sodass es diesmal kein Bild davon gibt.

Danach bin ich nach Hause gefahren und war schnell noch einkaufen. Den restlichen Abend haben wir zunächst mit Diablo 3 verbracht und sind dann schließlich auf die Couch gefallen zu den aktuellen Folgen von Defiance und Edwardian Farm.

Die Woche hat wieder begonnen und es gibt die Qual der Wahl in der Kantine.

Lazy sunday

Yesterday we were again allowed to sleep longer, but then we had to do the chores. After that we played a bit Diablo 3.

Later that afternoon we went to a summer party. But since there wasn't much food we then decided to test a new burger restaurant at the central station: Burger Bros. The burgers were good and the price about the level of Hard Rock Cafe, but it wasn't Burgermacher quality.

In the evening it was BBC time again: Celebrity MasterChef, Mary Berry and Mock The Week.

Auch gestern haben wir lange schlafen dürfen, aber dann stand Hausarbeit an. Danach haben wir weiter Diablo 3 gespielt.

Am späteren Nachmittag sind wir dann zu einem Sommerfest gegangen. Nachdem es dort aber fast nichts zu essen gab, sind wir dann am Heimweg beim Hauptbahnhof bei einem neuen Burgerlokal eingekehrt: Burger Bros. Die Burger waren gut und preislich beim Hard Rock Cafe angesiedelt. Burgermacher Qualität ist es allerdings nicht.

Am Abend dann haben wir zuhause auf BBC geschaut: Celebrity MasterChef, Mary Berry und Mock The Week.

Party!

Yesterday we slept longer and then we went to Mariahilf to Planet Harry and the Free RPG Day. Afterwards we went to a birthday party of a dear friend of ours, from which we came back home quite late.

Gestern haben wir lange geschlafen und sind dann nach Mariahilf zum Planet Harry und dem Free RPG Day gefahren. Danach ging es dann zur Geburtstagsparty einer lieben Freundin, von der wir sehr spät in der Nacht nach Hause gekommen sind.

Not the usual friday

Yesterday was friday, but since we are going to Planet Harry today for the Free RPG Day, I stayed home yesterday after work.

We had a quite relaxed afternoon and later my dear went to the opera with her mother. In this time I was able to watch the last episode of the season of Game of Thrones - wow, a lot happened in this one.

Later in the evening we then watched the current episode of Celebrity MasterChef before we went to bed.

Gestern war zwar Freitag, aber nachdem wir heute zum Planet Harry wegen dem Free RPG Day hingehenn werden, war ich gestern nach der Arbeit nicht mehr unterwegs.

Wir haben daher einen eher gemütlichen Nachmittag verbracht und mein Schatz war am Abend mit ihrer Mutter in der Oper. In der Zeit habe ich mir dann endlich die letzte Episode der aktuellen Staffel von Game of Thrones angeschaut - nicht schlecht was da alles abgegangen ist.

Am späteren Abend haben wir dann noch eine Folge von Celebrity MasterChef geschaut bevor es ins Bett gegangen ist.

Elementary evening

Yesterday was our traditional summer party at work, so I came home later than usual.

We then went straight onto the couch and watched three episodes of Elementary before we went to bed, but not until we entertained the cats.

Gestern war in der Firma das traditionelle Sommerfest und daher bin ich dann später nach Hause gekommen.

Wir sind dann nur mehr auf die Couch gefallen und haben uns drei Episoden von Elementary bevor es nach Katzen-bespassung ins Bett ging.

Busy bee

Yesterday after work I was at my parents' for dinner and I got a tasty Kaiserschmarrn.

After that I went shopping for beverages, since we are having two parties within the next two weeks and Merkur had a -25% sale on beverages.

Back home the cats wanted to be fed and played with, both of which I provided for them. After that I baked the brownies for today.

Later I picked up my dear from a friend and delivered some of the beverages I bought earlier.

Back home we just wacthed two episodes of Elementary before going to bed

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern zum Abendessen, es gab Kaiserschmarrn.

Danach bin ich noch zum Getränke einkaufen gefahren, nachdem in den nächsten zwei Woche zwei Feste anfallen und beim Merkur gerade -25% auf Getränke waren.

Wieder zuhause angekommen haben mich dann die Katzen überfallen und wollten gefüttert und bespasst werden. Beidem habe ich nachgegeben und danach gleich die Brownies für heute gebacken.

Dann habe ich meinen Schatz von einer Freundin abgeholt und gleich auch einen Teil der Getränke geliefert.

Wieder zuhause haben wir uns dann noch zwei Folgen Elementary angeschaut, bevor es ins Bett ging.
