Weekend has set in

Yesterday we took the day off and relaxed, while still doing the chores as well.

In the evening we watched NFL again following by an episode of The Great British Bake Off.

Gestern haben wir uns einen angenehmen freien Tag gegönnt und nebenher auch gleich die Hausarbeit gemacht.

More things are getting done

Yesterday I finally finished my registration with social services and the rest of the day was also rather successful at Planet Harry.

In the evening I went to my parents for dinner and got some tasty pancakes.

Later I went out with my dear and we dd a walk at the nearby Böhmische Prater, so our bodies were rather happy as well to be looked after.

The conclusion of the day was again sitting on the couch and watching tv shows - The Great British Bake Off is back!

Gestern habe ich endlich meine Anmeldung für die SVA abgeschlossen und auch sonst war es ein recht erfolgreicher Tag im Planet Harry.

Am Abend bin ich zu meinen Eltern gefahren und habe dort köstliche Palatschinken bekommen.

Später dann sind mein Schatz und ich noch im Böhmischen Prater einer Runde gegangen und haben so noch ein bisschen was für unsere Körper getan.

Abschluss des Tages wie immer das Schauen von Fernsehserien auf der Couch - The Great British Bake Off ist wieder da!

Happy Halloween

Yesterday - on Halloween - I was at my parents for dinner after work and I got a tasty apple pancake.

After that I went home and out again to buy some candy and sweets. As it turns out this wouldn't have been necessary since only a group of two girls rang at our door this evening for trick or treating. So now we have a lot of sweet stuff at home, which should last us several weeks.

Our very own Halloween consisted of watching a mockumentary (What We Do in the Shadows about vampires living together in a house and the usual problems you have with that. It was quite funny, but not as funny as I had hoped it to be.

After that we continued with some tv shows and in the end we watched the final of The Great British Bake Off.

Am gestrigen Halloween war ich nach der Arbeit bei meine Eltern zum Abendessen und hab eine gute Apfel-Palatschinke bekommen.

Danach ging es nach Hause und dann gleich noch schnell Süßes einkaufen. Wie sich dann später herausgestellt hat leider zu unrecht, weil es kam gerade eine Zweiergruppe von Mädchen zum Süßes oder Saueres rufen an die Tür. Somit haben wir jetzt Süßigkeiten für die nächsten Wochen für uns.

Unser eigenes Halloween Programm hat dann so ausgesehen, dass wir uns einen entsprechenden Film (5 Zimmer Küche Sarg) über eine Vampir-WG angeschaut haben. Es war recht lustig, wenngleich auch nicht der Überhammer einer Komödie.

Danach haben wir noch ein paar Serien geschaut und das Finale vom The Great British Bake Off.

Work and boardgames

This saturday there was much to do. Early in the morning I went to Alten Donau and helped my father cut the concrete tiles to fit in the holes around the house.

Afterwards I went to Mariahilf and got myself a nice lunch at mySchnitzel.

Next stop was Planet Harry where I got some new and interesting games to try out - unfortunately the Star Trek Adventures rpg book still hasn't arrived yet.

After that I went home and there we then had a nice boardgame afternoon with a dear friend. We started with Dalak Dice - a variation of Zombie Dice but with a whole different strategic approach.

Since it was a huge success when our japanes lord visited us last time, we then decided to go back to the Mansions of Madness: Second Edition. This time we were tasked with preventing a murder - which we couldn't do but we found out who did it and won rather closely in the end.

After that we just had an episode of The Great British Bake Off on the couch before we went to bed.

Am Samstag gab es viel zu tun. Schon in der Früh bin ich zur Alten Donau gefahren und habe meinem Vater geholfen die Waschbetonplatten mit einer ausgeborgten Maschine zu schneiden, sodass wir wieder einen durchgehenden Weg rund ums Haus haben.

Danach bin ich nach Mariahilf gefahren und habe mir bei mySchnitzel ein Mittagessen gegönnt.

Die nächste Station war dann beim Planet Harry wo es wieder ein paar interessante neue Spiele zum Abholen gegeben hat - leider warte ich immer noch auf der Star Trek Adventures Rollenspielbuch.

Anschließend ging es dann zurück nach Hause und dann haben wir einen gemütlichen Brettspielnachmittag mit einer lieben Freundin gehabt. Begonnen haben wir mit Dalak Dice - einer Variation von Zombie Dice allerdings mit einem ganz anderen strategischen Zugang.

Nachdem es beim Besuch unseres japanischen Lord ein großer Erfolg war, haben wir uns dann entschlossen wir spielen auch noch eine Partie Mansions of Madness: Second Edition. Diesmal mussten wir versuchen einen Mordversuch zu verhindern - was uns nicht gelungen ist, dafür haben wir dann aber den Täter korrekt überführen können und haben sehr knapp gewonnen.

Danach gab es noch eine Folge The Great British Bake Off auf der Couch bevor wir ins Bett gefallen sind.

Baking in the evening

Yesterday after work I went to my parents and got some tasty pancakes for dinner.

After that I went home and baked a plum tray bake, which my dear will take to work today.

The evening entertainment consisted of one episode of The Great British Bake Off and some other shows on BBC before we went to bed.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit bei meinen Eltern und es gab köstliche Palatschinken zum Nachtmahl.

Danach bin ich nach Hause gefahren und dort habe ich uns dann noch einen Zwetschkenkuchen gebacken, der heute von meinem Schatz in die Arbeit mitgenommen wird.

Als Abendunterhaltung haben wir dann noch The Great British Bake Off und ein paar Sendungen auf BBC geschaut bevor es ins Bett ging.

Roles and how to play them

Yesterday we were allowed to sleep longer and after that we started preparing for the roleplaying session in the afternoon.

While my dear checked water and rescued a mule, I went to Guild Wars 2 and later listened to some podcast.

In the evening we watched the BBC episodes of The Great British Bake Off, Have I Got a Bit More News For You and QI on the couch.

Gestern durften wir länger schlafen und haben uns danach gleich daran gemacht für das nachmittägliche Rollenspielen gerüstet zu sein.

Während mein Schatz Wasser geprüft und Maultiere befreit hat, bin ich etwas in Guild Wars 2 herum gegangen und habe mir dann einen Podcast angehört.

Am Abend sind wir dann zu den BBC Folgen von The Great British Bake Off, Have I Got a Bit More News For You und QI auf die Couch gefallen.

Some baking off

Yesterday after work we entertained the cats at home and then we went to the Halloween festival in Guild Wars 2. We collected quite the loot - although nothing fancy - and after that I went baking a lime and coconut meringue pie from The Great British Bake Off.

The evening entertainment consisted of the most recent episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Timeless.

Gestern nach der Arbeit wurden zuhause die Katzen bespasst und dann ging es zum Halloween Festival nach Guild Wars 2. Nachdem wir viel Loot gemacht hatten - leider nicht Spezielles dabei gewesen - hab ich dann noch gebacken und zwar einen Lime and coconut meringue pie von The Great British Bake Off.

Als Abendunterhaltung haben wir uns dann noch die aktuellen Folgen von Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. und Timeless angeschaut.

Creative evening - somewhat

Yesterday was the weekly creative evening with the ladies and we watched the latest episodes of The Great British Bake Off, Hairy Bikers and Would I Lie To You?.

After it was just the two of us again, we entertained the cats and then watched one episode of Star Trek Continues before it was time for bed.

Gestern waren wieder die Kreativ-Damen bei uns und wir haben uns dann die aktuellste Folge von The Great British Bake Off, die Hairy Bikers sowie Would I Lie To You? angeschaut.

Nachdem wir dann wieder unter uns waren, haben wir die Katzen bespasst und uns dann noch eine Folge Star Trek Continues angeschaut bevor es ins Bett ging.

Seasons are starting again

Yesterday my dear made me an early birthday present: the Doctor Who level pack for LEGO Dimensions. I started playing it a bit, but I guess we both will be playing the whole thing rather soon.

After that it was early couch time, where we at first watched the current episode of The Great British Bake Off, followed by the season starter episodes of Scream Queens, Lucifer and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Gestern habe ich von meinem Schatz ein Vor-Geburtstagsgeschenk bekommen: das Doctor Who Level Pack für LEGO Dimensions. Ich hab es dann nur kurz angespielt, aber ich denke das wird schon bald zum Einsatz kommen.

Danach ging es vorzeitig auf die Couch, wo wir uns zunächst die aktuelle Folge von The Great British Bake Off angeschaut haben, gefolgt von den Folgen zum neuen Staffelanfang von Scream Queens, Lucifer und Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

NFL has started again

This morning started again with a meeting at MA11 and this time again it went quite well. Since we didn't want to eat that much, we went to le Pho for lunch.

Afterwards we went to Westbahnhof and "unfortunately" we had to stop at Garda for dessert.

Then we went to the flat of friends of ours, since they are on vacation we look after their plants. After that we went home to our cats to entertain and feed them.

In the evening there was the start of the NFL season with a dear friend of ours, but first we finished the first season of Lucifer and watched two episodes of The Great British Bake Off. The ladies watched all through the night, I went for a quick "nap" only to be woken up at about 9:00 in the morning.

Am Vormittag hatten wir das zweite Gespräch bei der MA11 und auch das verlief relativ gut. Diesmal wollten wir nicht soviel zu Mittag essen, also sind wir nur einmal zum le Pho auf ein kleines Essen gegangen.

Danach ging es zum Westbahnhof und da sind wir dann "leider" beim Garda eingefallen auf eine kleine Nachspeise.

Dann sind wir zu Freunden von uns gefahren die Wohnung zu versorgen, da sie im Moment auf Urlaub sind. Danach ging es nach Hause zu unseren Mieze-Katzen, die bespasst werden wollte.

Am Abend gab es diesmal ein NFL Spektakel mit einer Freundin von uns, aber davor haben wir uns die letzten Folgen der ersten Staffel von Lucifer und zwei Folgen The Great British Bake Off angeschaut. Die Damen haben die Nacht durchgemacht, ich bin dann irgendwann "kurz" ein Nickerchen machen gegangen und wurde um 9:00 wieder geweckt.

Boardgaming and stuff

This saturday I went to help my father with a computer problem in der morning. Unfortunately I was only partially able to help him and now we need to find a way to restoe the rest of his data files again. After that I went to friends to deliver them some cloths we got for them from other friends.

Back home at noon a dear friend of ours visited and we watched the latest episode of The Great British Bake Off together - in all the episodes we saw so far I have never seen so many things gone wrong and stuff that needed redoing.

In the afternoon we had friends over for a boardgame afternoon.

We played Glen More, Concept, Kodama, 7 Wonders, Straw and Stich-Meister.

After our guests left we just watched one episode of Elementary before I went to bed with very bad headache.

Am Samstag in der Früh bin ich zu meinem Vater gefahren um ihm mit einem akuten PC Problem zu helfen. Leider konnte ich nicht allzu viel tun und jetzt müssen wir schauen wie er seine Daten wieder zurückbekommt. Danach bin ich dann noch andere Freunde besuchen gefahren um ihnen eine Kleiderlieferung von wieder anderen Freunden zu bringen.

Zuhause zu Mittag hat uns dann eine liebe Freundin besucht und wir haben uns die aktuelle Folge von The Great British Bake Off angesehen - so viele Katastrophen hatte ich aber noch nie beim Bake Off gesehen wie dieses Mal.

Am Nachmittag haben wir dann noch weiteren Besuch von Freunden bekommen und wir haben einen Brettspielnachmittag veranstaltet.

Gespielt wurden Glen More, Concept, Kodama, 7 Wonders, Straw und Stich-Meister.

Als die Gäste gegangen waren haben wir dann noch eine Folge Elementary geschaut, bevor ich mit Riesenkopfschmerzen ins Bett gegangen bin.

Quick bake from The GBBO

Yesterday after work I went to the post office and then did some grocery shopping. Back home I quickly baked a cake for our guests.

We had dear friends over for chatting, boardgaming and giving them our cruise presentation. I think they enjoyed every bit of that and we had a lot of fun.

After they were gone, we just watched one episode of Elementary before we went to bed.

Gestern nach der Arbeit war ich kurz zuhause. Danach bin ich noch schnell zur Post und einkaufen gegangen. Wieder zuhause habe ich dann einen Kuchen für unsere Gäste gebacken.

Wir hatten dann liebe Freunde zum tratschen, Brettspielen und Kreuzfahrt Präsentation zeigen zu Besuch. Ich denke es hat ihnen sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten alle viel Spass.

Als sie gegangen waren, haben wir uns dann noch für eine Folge Elementary auf die Couch gesetzt bevor es ins Bett ging.

Unusual friday

This friday after work we went to Mariahilf and showed our japanese the international supermarket Prosi, where er bought himself some noodles.

After that we went to Planet Harry, but there was nothing new there.

Later I met with some colleagues from work for a a small private christmas party at Dublin Pub, where I had a nice burger.

Back home I joined The Grey in Guild Wars 2 for the weekly guild missions, but we didn't have much success.

The conclusion of the day was the last old episode of The Great British Bake Off.

Am Freitag waren wir nach der Arbeit in Mariahilf unterwegs und haben unserem Japaner den Prosi gezeigt, wo er sich gleich Nudeln gekauft hat.

Danach ging es zum Planet Harry, wo es aber nichts Neues gab.

Später dann habe ich mich mit Arbeitskollegen im Dublin Pub zu einer privaten Weihnachtsfeier getroffen, wo es einen guten Burger gab.

Wieder zuhause habe ich mich dann in Guild Wars 2 noch bei den Grey angehängt, aber der Erfolg blieb diese Woche leider aus.

Zum Abschluss des Tages gab es dann noch die letzte alte Folge von The Great British Bake Off.

Mariahilf - one day early

Yesterday after work I went to Mariahilf, since I'm going to spent today's evening with colleagues from work.

So I went to myMuesli for a restock of the advent calender and then to Planet Harry to buy and send off my BGG Secret Santa games.

Back home there was dinner and after that we went onto the couch for the most recent episode of Castle and an old episode of The Great British Bake Off.

Gestern bin ich nach der Arbeit nach Mariahilf gefahren, nachdem ich mich heute am Abend mit Arbeitskollegen verbringen werde.

Ich war also zunächst bei myMuesli um den Adventkalender zu füllen und dann beim Planet Harry um meine BGG Secret Santa Spiele zu bezahlen und abschicken zu lassen.

Wieder zuhause gab es dann Nachtmahl und danach war es schon Zeit für die Couch mit der aktuellen Folge von Castle und einer alten Episode von The Great British Bake Off.

Creative screaming

Yesterday the ladies came together for their creative evening. In the meantime I was nominated to bake a pumpkin pie by my dear, based on two different recipes. The end result was very tasty and well received, although the recipe itself got actually more praise than the baker...

After the ladies were done with the creative process, we went onto the couch and watched to episodes of Scream Queens. After that the ladies went home and we continued the evening with an episode of The Great British Bake Off before we finally went to bed.

Gestern hatten die Damen wieder ihren Kreativabend bei uns. In der Zwischenzeit wurde ich von meinem Schatz nominiert einen Pumpkin-Pie zu backen, nach zwei verschiedenen Rezepten. Das Ergebnis wurde sehr goutiert, auch wenn es mehr Lob für das Rezept als den Bäcker gab...

Nachdem die Damen genug kreativ waren ging es auf die Couch und es wurden zwei Folgen Scream Queens angeschaut. Nachdem dann die Damen sanft nach Hause geschickt wurden, haben wir uns noch eine Episode von The Great British Bake Off angeschaut bevor es Zeit fürs Bett war.

Guild business

Yesterday I was having dinner at my parents' and it was Apfelstrudel - yummy.

After that I went home where our japanese guest was making himself toast for dinner. I spent the evening first with guild business in Guild Wars 2 before we went onto the couch for Despicable Me 2.

Later we watched the most recent episodes of Sleepy Hollow and Have I Got a Bit More News For You followed by an old episode of The Great British Bake Off before we went off to bed.

Gestern war ich zum Abendessen beim meinen Eltern und es gab Apfelstrudel - yummy.

Danach ging es nach Hause wo sich unser japanischer Gast gerade ein Nachtmahl aus Toast zubereitet hatte. Den Abend habe ich dann zunächst mit Guild Wars 2 und Gildenadministration verbracht, bevor es auch die Couch zu Despicable Me 2 ging.

Später dann waren noch die aktuellen Folgen von Sleepy Hollow und Have I Got a Bit More News For You bzw. eine alte Episode von The Great British Bake Off am Programm bevor wir dann ins Bett gefallen sind.

Relaxing evening

Yesterday when I came back home from work I first did some chores with my dear. After that we went to explore some more in Guild Wars 2 and after that I played some more with the new guild hall of ours.

Later it was couch time and we continued to watch old episodes of The Great British Bake Off until our guest came back from his movie night.

Gestern war ich nach der Arbeit zuhause zunächst mit meinem Schatz Hausarbeit erledigen. Danach haben wir uns ein wenig in Guild Wars 2 herumgetrieben, wo ich dann auch weiter an unserer Gildenhalle geschraubt habe.

Später dann ging es auf die Couch und wir haben weiterhin alte Folge von The Great British Bake Off angeschaut, bis unser Gast von seinem Kinoabend nach Hause gekommen ist.

Friday's are exhausting

Yesterday it was time again to shop in Mariahilf. After I picked up our japanese guest from his language class once again and he picked up yet another ticket at Libro, I went to myMuesli and Planet Harry for shopping. There wasn't many new gaming items, but I got the expansion for Castles of Mad King Ludwig.

After that it was food time and so I went to Natsu and Blutaumüller to buy our dinner.

Back home I was greeted by my dear and the cats - although the cats were mainly interested in the food.

Later I tried to complete my Coursera course on Ruby on Rails, but I failed to do so.

Exhausted and somewhat frustrated it was time for the couch and we watched old episodes of The Great British Bake Off.

Gestern war wieder Einkaufen in Mariahilf angesagt. Nachdem ich ein weiteres Mal unseren japanischen Gast von seinem Sprachkurs abgeholt hatten und er sich wieder ein Ticket vom Libro geholt hat, bin ich zu myMuesli und zum Planet Harry zum Einkaufen gegangen. Viele Neuigkeiten gab es nicht, aber die Expansion zu Castles of Mad King Ludwig wurde mitgenommen.

Danach ging es daran unsere Abendessen zu organisieren und so bin ich beim Natsu und dann beim Blutaumüller eingefallen.

Zuhause wurde ich von meinem Schatz und den Katzen erwartet - wobei es bei den Katzen wohl hauptsächlich ums Essen ging.

Später dann habe ich versucht meinen Coursera Kurs zu Ruby on Rails zu vollenden, was mir leider nicht so gelungen ist.

Etwas erschöpft und frustriert bin ich dann auf die Couch gefallen und wir haben uns die alten The Great British Bake Off weiter angeschaut.

Star Wars - the game

Yesterday evening, after he did his german classes homework, I played some Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game with our japanese guest. Since he is a big Star Wars fan, I guess he really enjoeyed the game.

Later that evening we went onto the couch and watched older episodes of The Great British Bake Off, just in time before they will no longer be available on the internet.

Gestern am Abend habe ich mit unserem japanischen Gast, nachdem er brav seinen Deutsch-Hausübung gemacht hatte, eine Partie Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game gespielt. Nachdem er ein großer Star Wars Fan ist, hat es ihm - so denke ich - auch sehr gut gefallen.

Später am Abend dann haben wir uns auf die Couch begeben und uns ein paar alte Folgen von The Great British Bake Off angeschaut, bevor sie online nicht mehr verfügbar sind.
